Most Hated Character?

My Character was treated quite well indeed, from an informational standpoint by Maily. But GRRR she stole my char's food!

You must've had a char who chose to not be cooperative after breaking a law. Either that or you broke the law about being respectful to all guests and residents in the forest, and got a crossbow bolt in the a** for it

That's what I hate about a lot of people in cantr. They think if you're rude you deserve death. THAT doesn't even make sense. If we killed everyone who was ever rude in real life, I'm pretty sure we'd all be dead :p

Ah yes, but in real life - there is a rigid structure of laws to prevent that.

Otherwise I'd be quite happy to go out use some of those rude people as target practice for MY crossbow.

Personally, I wouldn't mind at all if there were laws enforcing respect IRL. Some people out there just appall me...

There are laws IRL. But only judges get to use them and only in their courtrooms. They may not be able to kill you but they can hold you forever without appeal.

I don't think people should be rude, but still, one "i'm in a hurry can you just give it me" kind of comment shouldn't get you injusred and run out of town!

I don't recall running anyone out of town for asking for something. Perhaps there's more to it than that?...Maily doesn't have a problem with free speech. She'll talk about anything with anyone, which includes criticism of how she does things. It's when someone disregards tosses aside positive criticism and replaces it with ranting that the discussion ends.
Ahem...Maily has never stolen something...not sure who said that. She makes mistakes like everyone, but would not do something so low as steal. She has intentionally ripped someone off ONCE, but that was because the char asked for payment twice and was an ass about it, so she was trying to raise his ire. Unfortunately, the char thought it was a good deal and accepted happily, dashing Maily's fun.

After talking with jeslange, it's all good. I don't hate Maily as a player anymore.

Alicia still is a completely different matter.

lol, sorry I was referring to a different instance, different character. But now that I think about it, my char went into the blacksmith shop and said something about how he wanted to make weapons for a living and te lady inside was arguing with him and he said something about how it was people like her who kept people from being successful instead of just doing what they wanted and she told me if I didn't leave I would die, and she talked to Maily Yumm about it so I just got out of there...
