building buildings faster with tools

Postby fishfin » Fri Jun 30, 2006 2:05 am

I think that you should be able to use two kinds of tools to build a log cabbin, a hammer does it at ther curent speed but there should be some other kind of tool that makes you build it faster, same with stone buildings.

We have discussed some things along these lines. It was intitally in the works about a year or two ago but the people working on it left RD...along with a spiderweb of tools, objects, and half-implemented projects. It will take a while for us to sort it all out.

Have you ever asked yourself why people, who already have stone buildings or better ones, and even have metal tools or better ones, must be in the mood of creating a new and more simple tool for you?

Can I join?

Back on topic, it would be good if this was implemented for a number of other things. Encouraging the tradesman rather than the 'can I borrow a hammer to do this' bigrade!
