I defence of my atlas... aside from one paragraph at the beginning, everything else is fact.

I am going to have to go through and change every "Population: 7" to "7" and hope people know what I mean... :x

I don't. Would it be seven citizens, or seven resource slots?

A program could do that for you in a few seconds and Pop would probably be understood.

I've known about the note limit for almost a year. Maybe it should have been brought up. It seems it has: http://www.cantr.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3383

Actually, I'd rather read several notes over a few days, instead of reading/searching through one giant one at once.

#&$%ing Cantr notes aren't long enough.

That's just stupid...

Note: 65535 characters is the limit... not very high if you add html tags... My atlas is 137255 characters... so I guess I'll have to scrap most of it. *sighs*

 Well, I ran into that problem several times before. Maybe that's why I dubbed Hobbes as the "Editor" since he cut/exported/hid as much as he wrote when creating Cantr's first global encyclopedia. Unsurprisingly, shorter articles and more succint abbreviations do a world of a good though it seems you have discovered that now.

Although I would have agreed that multi-volume works usually deter readership (and half the people here who claim to read both versions of your work are full of it ;) ), you do have the benefit of coming out with it now that they've re-worked the note inter-face.

Believe me, I have done plenty of abbrievating. In the end, I sacrificed old road names into another appendix... so the problems are lessened.

And just for reference... the word global cannot really be applied to Cantr. We don't know if its a globe or not...

Torusly then? :P At least OOC..

And.. I hate people that don't merge lanes in plenty of time before construction they know is coming up then end up merging right at the cones, especially at 5pm rush hour... everything would go much faster if they didn't! Grrr... and other stupid people that don't watch what they're doing... and people that cut you off... and people that honk at you for going the speed limit in the correct lane... and lights that go red... and rude dressing room people... and phone calls in the morning when they should've been made the night before... and eye makeup and hair gel and expensive linens... and real mayonnaise... what else... and buying $76 worth of stuff... well, I didn't hate that... just that it made my money go away... <.< hmmm.. and things that go 'erhhh'... and jam and jelly... and chocolate chip cookies... okay, I lied about those last three things... I like them...

I hate it when people honk at you or try to pass you when you're already going OVER the speed limit yourself.

Ooh, that too... because I'm usually speeding some myself and then there's crazy people going 50mph faster than me whipping by... I always grumble obscenities about them...

I hate feeling blue... ignored when I speak.... consoled out of obligation.. when people expect you to do something all the time, because you did it once... ok more than once ...but still.... it just isn't much fun!
