Well, I dont know about bumper stickers...

But I do plan on doing aggressive advertising when I head off to my engineering college next year. They have a club that does medieveal battles on the quad with foam swords (complete with knights, clerics, and werewolves), so I'm pretty sure I can get a ton of recruits there!

But I would get a bumpersticker.

http://www.makestickers.com/home.asp

$5 per sticker, or about $2.50/ea for 10 and so forth.

http://www.bumperstatements.com/

$4 per sticker and free shipping, or $5.50 for a magnetic sticker.

http://www.cafepress.com/

$2.50 - $3.00 a sticker.

Shall we have a contest like the T-shirts, and did anyone ever buy any of those?
Reality was never my strong point.

Implementing payment and manufacturing and multi-continent shipping just turned into too much of a hassle, especially for volunteers who didn't have enough time to devote to it.

"saw the link on the back of a car"

So now I am *very* curious - who is driving around with cantr.net on the back of his/her car?? :D

I started playing about 2 years ago because I saw the cantr.net sticker on the back of (my then roommates) Vicki's car.

Very nice way of advertising.
I suggest to give credits for every sticker placed outside.
We will create some templates to be printed and done manually.
Then everyone would be able to place them everywhere: on cars, buses, bus stations. We can even spray that on roads or walls

There are almost 2000 of us - could be quite a big number of stickers on the streets

give credits? that would need some proof that the sticker had been placed, a photo?

Sounds like the start of a new craze

I would put one on my car, but I have three good reasons why I won't:

1. My mom would kill me

2. My mom would find out about Cantr

3. My mom would kill me again

Why stickers?

there area alot of telephone poles around where I live, and all I need is a staple gun and alot of printer paper if someone can design a good advert.

I wouldnt mind a day just walking around my town stapling signs to every telephone pole, though it'd probably take a long time, and alot of paper o.O

If you find somewhere that can make a decent stencil some of my friends and I will put it on our boards. One of my friends is sponsored by Osiris and he will be able to show off at competitions.
