As peanut said it's not a virus issue

See http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=306493 for how to change file associations under Windows 98

As it says in this article if the "Open With..." option is not available on the right click menu then try Shift right click

Three cheers for Chris! Shift + Right Click fixed my problem. Not only did it fix just that one file type it fixed every single image file on my computer.

I did it on a .jpg and it applied it to all the .jpg/.gif/.bmp/Etc...

Yes, It is. Just get rid of that AVG and install the Avast.
About firewalls, try to conserve the Zone Alarm, it's a good programm. But look up if you're really protected, because it has an expiration date.

Wilmer B.

Zone alarm is rubbish.

Try the free kerio firewall.
And don't forget to set it to learning mode.

Kerio is very good , but hasn't been free since the end of last year when Kerio stopped development of their firewalls

I believe Kerio themselves sold on the personal version to another company who charge for the new version (c.$20 IIRC)

You may be able to find old copies of the free version available for download but to be honest generally it's a bad idea to place your security in the hands of an old unsupported product
