I think when a project of sex is in action it should have a greater chance of somebody spawning in that location unless it is two people of the same gender.

No, it should be the same rate. Its called new age adoption.... The newspawns are 20, giving enough time for thier loving parents to adopt them and raise them.

Personally, I don't see this going anywhere except just getting higher and higher replies.

Making sex a project... only encourages it...makes it a necessary part of the game.... even if it is there... people who choose to RP sex...are still going to RP thier own.... not use a project to do so... Sex is not necessary in cantr and should never become a requirement in the game for ANY reason... Cantrians have been spawned for better than 75 years... changing that now is just wrong.... it fractures the foundation of Cantr.... alot of thing change, improve, become harder... those things are natural changes... but a Cantrian is a Cantrian..and a cantrian is SPAWNED WITHOUT SEX please do not make sex a requirement to being spawned....

Not a requirement, newspawns are everywhere. A town with lots of people having sex will have a higher spawn rate than towns who don't.

Actually, my suggestion wasn't to have 'nasty icky sex acts' all over the place, but to have a proper 'relationship' setting resulting in the possibility of a newspawn 'child'. This kind of thing is essential, I think, for things like lineage, genealogy and family trees. Right now, no-one has ancestors. That is unrealistic, since IRL everyone has ancestors, even if they don't know who they are.

I think, ideally, every newspawn should have parents who name them, so they can carry on a family name.

No....
If family trees are going to be built.... it needs to follow the simple foundation of cantr and spawning... There are those out there that call themselves family...adopt the newspawns into their family... names change.. and it works the same way... carrys on the family name... when those charris that were adopted..strike out on thier own... or as they grow older.. they wiill do as they were taught...and adopt a newspawn... give them thier name.. and the tree branches.. no programing needed.....

Adopted newspawns don't have the same ties as blood relations.

They haven't raised you from birth and looked after you for 20 odd years.

That's why to get a proper simulation of families you need both birth and childhood.

Thats the point... in 78 years of Cantr ...there has been NO births..NO childhoods.... to change that..changes Cantr... not just the way some things function... but...It just seems so wrong to me... Cantrians have always spawned.... and why would sex have to become a manditory part of Cantr? I don't like the idea of babies in cantr...never have, don't think I ever would... they will be a novilty at first.. then ignored and left to die...... anyways... different subject.
The idea of projects for sex... is just wrong and doesn't belong..

maybe if it required a bed, you can see from outside something like

1567 - 1:23.12: You hear the squeeking of a bed inside a building.

and when they stop it can say something like

1866 - 1:18.12: A man in his twenties enters xxx coming from xxx
1688 - 1:12:25: The squeeking stops.
