When was the Kirrinn "massacre"? A long time ago. More than 40 days but still we can't discuss it.

I don't recall anyone saying this, and I know it has already been mentioned a couple of times on here, if not discussed. That is not a part of the "war" that is being asked not to be discussed. It is the battle that is taking place that has not been concluded yet.

The TBR/Noniwrok war is still going on. The Baron/everyone else war has been over for over 20 days. That is the difference I see. If that's not long enough to wait before discussion is allowed, then we need to lengthen the time, though I can't imagine people being willing to wait 20 days after the TBR/Noniwrok is over to start discussing it.

It can be marked as a spoilers area and no one could complain about receiving unwanted knowledge if they deliberately go there.

Wasn't that what Gen. Discussion used to be? I personally like OOC Discussion of the game and think that it has plenty of positive effects for game play in the same way it has negative effects. And I certainly find that it makes playing more fun to talk about it after. Luckily I have gotten enough friends and family to play or listen that I don't need the forum to do that.

To CD: This might be a good thread for a split.

Howabout this... We can discuss EVERYTHING about TBR up to the raid on Kirrin. Since that's the last public thing that everybody who really cares about this seems to already vaguely know.

This will allow for plenty of conversation topics... considering everyone and their mother is going to want to put their spin on what occured on K-isle for the past however many years.

Hold up, there was a raid on Kirrin?

Which one is Kirrin again?

I think it's near Pok. you know, back in the day we didn't have all these fancy islands. Just 2 big continents, proper places.

Its a town on one of the smaller islands. The K-Island I believe. The whole island suffers a lot from numerous pirate attacks and I guess the Kirrinn Massacre was one of the latest issues.

If you have to ask... then it might as well be somewhere between Cantr City and the Kwaki hills. :P

Seriously though, I'm sick of this whole arguement. Pardon the bluntness but right now, only information that's within the last 100 real days or so really matters. Let's keep that hushed, but let people finally talk about everything else. Anything from 1000 to 1400 is really and truly in the past. If your character doesn't know about it yet, then they've been living under a rock. And if your the type of person that REALLY doesn't want to know. We'll put it under the topic TBR OLDBIE SPOILERS, READ AT YOUR OWN RISK.

There are simply too many people dying to have this discussion, in a forum designed specifically to have this discussion. Why are we being so masochistic to ourselves? I appeal to the Moderators to rethink this issue and allow ca. 1000 -1400 information to be discussed freely in a thread with a warning tag on it.

There is no problem with that, AoM. That doesn't come close to including the current battle that has been asked to wait for discussion.

You should have seen the Baron's iron stash. None of my characters have ever seen that much wealth in their entire lives.
Just worth saying... but most of the Baron's iron stash was taken from my char... :x

Baron F was the only one of any real intelligence that I ever saw... an opportunist you really did make the most of his chance...

Baron F was a sadistic bastard that brutally murdered one of my favourite charries. And a rather poorly rp'd murder on his side, imho, as well. To two very well rp'd chars fighting for their lives. *shrugs* Ancient history, just some things we never quite get over.

Yes, I believe once he died, the Barons started declining. We just didn't have the nice plans anymore. We just lost our, enthusiasm? what is the word I am looking for.. Morale was down when F died, and some of us lost our devotion.

Can somebody do that please? I don't really know much about any of the big events in CAntr's history at all...also can the non Baron related stuff be moved out of this thread? There's some good offtopic stuff here but I've had to be careful and skim for it.

EDIT: well that was fast, nevermind then

Yeah, but he died on a stupid move by his part. Baron C (me) wasn't even with him. It was not a good move.

Woah, there was a whole letter hierarchy?

How cool were they!! .... too bad they're all dead, I wanted to join :(
Boy:Why did the monkey fall out of the tree?
Father: Because it's dead
B:Why did that second monkey fall?
F: Because it was holding the first monkey's hand
B:Why did the third one fall?
F: Because he thought it was a game.
B:Why..
F: *smacks Boy*
