How Long?

Postby kinvoya » Mon Jun 12, 2006 3:19 am

Maybe it's a little too soon but exactly how long do we wait? Until every single person on the island has heard the news?

In many instances people have been trusted to keep OOC info out of character but not in this one where the people who have OOC power over the boards are the censors and also major players on one side only.

I call foul and censorship. When will TBR have a voice on the forums?

Don't bother to yell at me. I won't start another thread.

Umm...wow. :?

I'm not sure where this is all coming from. It seems like a basic 4 day rule thing to me. The war is still happening, at least as far as my charry knows... and I would appreciate it if she could find out otherwise in-game and not in these threads.

I locked the thread,,, I am on neither side...was no part of the war... knew very little about what was about to happen or why....I just happen to have a charri where she didn't belong..and she was sent away to keep her out of it... so I hardly call myself a major player!

I don't like the 4 day rule at all...I personally don't like any events discussed on here. And I loved being a TBR member, brief as it may have been.

Do you see where she's coming from though?

I have to agree that ooc hatred against TBR influenced a lot of peoples actions in-game, oldbies and newbies alike.
It was really too bad.

The best way to bury the OOC bias (if it is all possible) is to let the TBR discussion sink off the forums, not to keep chatter about it constantly active.

I, personally, like the title of this thread. I don't care what goes on inside it... obviously it''s not going the direction one would judge from the name... but anyways...

Oh well.

I believe the war is in regards to something about TBR... which I had said should be classified as a war a long time ago... an then people were saying, no it's just a feud or something like that.

No, the war is over (for more than 4 days). Now it's genocide and the spreading of the news of the "great heros" of the K-Island.

What bothers me is that the "four day rule" or 20 day or 40 day or whatever will never allow for the truth to be known even OOC after so much was said about the supposed "atrocities" of TBR.

To me this is bias.

While any battles may seem to be over, the aftermath of the war is not. I would ask that people refrain from discussing it until a time deemed appropriate by the PD, or even CD if it become ridiculous

I appreciate it can seem frustrating, and I am all for letting people say what they want. But there has to be a line, and I ask people not to cross it quite yet: this is not a censorship issue as such, more of a case to protect those who don't and shouldn't know the details yet.

However, you can discuss some of the other issues relating to TBR if you wish, as far as I know... just give this one plenty of time to bed down. :)
