The superhuman

Postby Nalaris » Sun Feb 12, 2006 5:10 am

This is exactly like Werewolf but with a less werewolf-esque theme. Because werewolves are just a cheap gimmick anyway. I have a much better gimmick. In this one, Dr. (whoever I decide to randomly pick) is brewing a superhumanity potion when one day, on the eve of his testing, he's knocked uncouncious and the potion is stolen by a manaic. Now Dr. (insert name here) must stop him before every wealthy land owner is killed. And it takes place in 1885 because that's when mad scientists never stopped making things like superhumanity potions.

The rules, for those of you who have been asleep for the past year or so, are as follows:
One murderous super human is selected. He sends me a PM telling me who to kill.
One eminent scientist among dukes, counts, barons, and other scientists who tells me who PMs me telling me who he wants to investigate. He takes a DNA sample, and I PM him back telling him superhuman positive or superhuman negative. He can also poison one person, whether or not he's tested them.
X number of upper class nobles, doctors and scientists who direct the police chief to hang this person or that person.

Do NOT reveal your role unless you think it will benefit. Feel free to pretend to be something you aren't.

Roles:
Murderer-open
Scientist-open
Duke/Duchess-open
Doctor-open
Count/Countess-open
Lawyer-open
Lawyer-open
Baron/Baroness-open
Sir/Lady-open

These titles are utterly random. I just put them in for effect. And no one will declare them in the open and be believed, after all...they're all just fancy ways of "I'm a villager! Don't hurt me!"

Odd is the good number of villagers to have, right? Or even?

I'm in! How do I play? I've sent you a PM telling you what I'd like.

Wait for an assignment. We need more players. I'll send you instructions once the assignments are handed out.

I'll play, just because I know how hard it is to get enough active players to join in.

Sounds like a good idea worth a try.

That's four people playing so far. Was it odd or even number of villagers that was good? I can't remember, darnit...

Seems like there's new life in the cantr werewolf community.

I've spent a lot of time playing online werewolf on some other sites, and have seen some really neat variations.

If this game gets off the ground, I might be tickled back into running a game.

Sure, I'll hand out the PM's now. I just hope we don't get an anti-climax from villager shortage...

1-Spillages=?
2-Penguin=?
3-AoM=?
4-Crosshair=?
5-Kael=?
6-Schme=Lawyer(Dead)

EDIT: PM's handed out. I'll be pretty busy over the next week, so I may or may not be able to reply between now and next Monday, but I'll get to you as fast as I can.
