Germanic is used when something comes from Germany or is German, roughly. It can also refer to the ancient Teutons, ancient Germans, or the German language.

also 'Die Englander Pig' although I'm sure that's not German!

Hmmm I think some people like to be ambiguous on that one....

I also continually get confused because in a lot of places on t'internet, 'XD' refers to Cross Dresser/ Transvestite... which I asumme SekoETC isn't :)

Perhaps but I see little reason why they would... Protecting your gender over a forum for a male isn't any big deal but for females, there may be some issues of fears of certain things so... But I think this forum has pretty sane people so there's no problem with disclosing your gender here...
