I WAS:

An retired member of the East Kol Watch who went away to sea with a beautiful woman who died unexectedly, I ended up in a seaside town and finding a new reason to live went with a strongwilled woman on an ill-thought-out mission where she was killed by a pair of pyschopaths. The strain of seeing my new love die, the town's disbelief at my account and their support of her murderer finally caused me to die of a stress induced heart attack,

[edit] I was told to tell the real story by the male friend's player. She watched as a female 'friend' who had been telling her for a week she needed to talk to another male friend boarded the boat and undocked. There was a clause written into the agreement that one person would stay behind, but the female 'friend' talked like it would be the 'friend'. The male friend wasn't replying to her questions and was usually awake that time of day. She watched as the boat sailed away, out into the ocean. She thought that she had been abandoned to stay behind, without friends, the most important thing to her after getting kicked out of her spawning town by two antisocial people and wandering without seeing a soul for 2 or 3 years. She thought she was the one that would be left to stay behind ---- after all ---- the male friend had once searched for 2 years to find that female 'friend'. Anyways. I later learned OOC from the male charrie's player that there was a docking bug that wouldn't let them dock to town and they had to sail out to get back in, but by then, PD had already killed her cause I have 2 others on that island and have had 3 there before and it was too difficult to try to keep them separated.
