Is the Cantr world small enough?
A partly explored coastline with empty settlements. The outline of a well-known reasonably sized island for comparison. Each black dot is a settlement.
How many players and characters do we need to populate this land?

Sorry I had to remove the map there - it was good map work
But it is strict game policy that infomation like maps should not be published apart from in-game - See this thread which the following quote is from.

"Find out in game" rule change

There will be made a clear distinction between real in-character things (like personal histories or maps) and things that are more about game mechanics. The former will still be very secret and should be found out in game; the latter can be openly discussed and will not be secret anymore.

I have to ask, when you people takl about "world maps", is it actual world maps or just maps of the entire english zone? 'Cause the former is pretty darn impressive (as is the latter, I guess, since the english zone didn't start out all on the same island).
On the other hand, rough maps of the explored swedish world exist...

I know it's against CR and all, but I would LOVE to see a not-to-scale collage (sp?) collection showing all the islands/continents. No names involved, jsut random blobs of colour to show the fun shapes these lands come in. And displayed like one of those "Bridges of Madison County" posters, with little squares for each island.
Sring-sri would be the same size as the Treefeather island (whatever it's called).
bad CR, but still would be fun to see how many there are.

I would really want to know how Spanish area has a magnificient cartography work, when there's no character who has ever travel the whole island at all.

There's a perfect map of the entire Aki island too. Same quality as the best map of the Dutch/French island (no guesses, only facts). It has all historical names too.
Only problem, it's not available IC. On the day the map was finished the two characters carrying it were slaughtered by some tourists. They both destroyed all map material before dying.
I seriously doubt that it's still possible to make a similar map of Aki.

just like the real world the population started out as a few and now look, we're "overpopulating"
i can't recall the source but apparently the current world population could be traced back to 1000 common ancestors, over 6 bil now thats quite a ways, people explore and spread and populate and it will happen in cantr, we just need more people to join (considering each player can have up to 15 characters we really don't need all that many to fill this world)
in all truth, you could say the world can never be big enough
