Cursor jump on lags.

Postby tiddy ogg » Sun May 28, 2006 8:58 pm

Sorry if that made no sense. It may be my own peculiar interface, but I wondered if others get this problem.
When there are long lags, the cursor seems to jump to an adjacent field. Tonight's was the most annoying. I tried pointing to a road... a long lag... and found myself walking down it, leaving my vehicle behind. *sigh*

Actually that happened to me twice, I just assumed it was because I am clumsy/tired/stupid... maybe not!

Oh yes, my first thought is "operator error" but it has happened several times, getting description of a project when I've wanted to stop working on it, and going to the change name screen instead of... something.
And I don't use a mouse so it isn't the cider swiller's shake.

I think that happens when the page hasn't completely loaded and you click on something. The icons as you see them probably get bumped up or down at the end of the page load, and you click what will be (or is actually there and you can't see it) there, not what you see.
