travelling skills?

Postby Marian » Fri May 26, 2006 9:35 pm

I was just thinking, how come there aren't any skills for travelling?

It shouldn't have a huge effect, but if you were an expert walker you might save a couple of hours. (and anyone who says there's no skill involved in walking needs to get off the sidewalk and go hiking up a mountain - in RL I'm a novice walker, apparently.)

Maybe we could even make it different for different terrains, if that's not to hard to do. If you were spawned in the mountains you'd automatically be an expert at walking in the mountains, and forests, hills, whatever would all be random.

And we need different skills for driving cars, riding bikes, and sailing. Especially sailing, because it seems like knowing about tides and things would take the most skill.

Cool, it's good to have a wide range of skills, such as 'Hey, I'm a great Hiker but terrible Swimmer!'
Nakranoth's "evil" character says:
"Thief! That's terrible! *shakes his head* That would hurt people's feeling if I did that."
