Well in that case most locations in Cantr are fantasy ripoffs. Quillanoi Forest would definitely be where the elves live, for starters, and most of the ones listed in the first post are even more fantasy...er...ish.

Aarkalip areas? Were they really never rembered?
It goes by a different name now - but a number of maps still refer to it by its original name. I guess they were compiled pre-amnesia then.
Would it be too much to ask - for the sake of my sanity, as I'd rather not read through them - could you post the list of those locations that currently have people in them?
I imagine a large number of those locations never memorised have never actually had a Cantrian in them, but I'm sure some of them, like Aarkalip, must now be lived in...

Xendra was the name of Xendra Silverblood, who settled the location 50 years ago. Whether or not it has any meaning outside that... it sure as hell means more than "Heartswater Hills". So, not only is the name more in keeping with the other names of that island (I mean seriously, who thought Heartswater Hills was a good name?) it also has a deep, rich history behind it and the development of that town.
So who needs to get their facts straight?

Sounds pretty horrific to me. Apart from the corny side to it... it makes me cringe... and really does make me regret the location amnesia. And believe me, I was a big supporter of it, so...

It does sound pretty... and if the place has had so much blood spilled there, I can see that it has just as much historical significance as Xendra. More obvious (without necessarily being overly obvious) significance anyway. But I like both names and I see historical value in both, though the Xendra I wouldn't have known without you telling it, Surly.
