Ira grins and holds up the PPG.

"This is simple enough to operate. Maybe I should take 2?"

He grabs another grenade.

[Nalaris]

Fully armed, the crew goes out to protect the ambassador. It is many hours before they are attacked, and they are nearly within sight of the peace conference according to GPS.

Three guerilla fighters open fire on the ambassador and the crew.

The enemy fires off several blasts and the crew returns fire. Before they get the oppurtunity, however, Amanda gets hit in the arm. Both of the native guards are injured in their legs, but they return fire anyway. Smirg hits one of the enemy and he goes down, but through the thick vegetation it's impossible to see if he's dead. The captain plugs two of them. Ira's shots fall miserably far away from their targets, and one of his PPG's has jammed. The Mechanic also misses every mark, but the enemy appears to be defeated. The ambassador is unharmed.

Had not the dice come up in such a way that the enemy was defeated in one go, you would've been able to tell me what you wanted to do. As it is, just returning fire was enough to achieve victory. The aliens compliment the captain on his marksmanship and Amanda brings out a medpac and begins treating the wounds, grumbling all the way that this is a bad idea...

[AoM]

"Hoorah... looks like we won out... it's just a shame they couldn't have given me something to drive... like a frikkin tank."

[Nalaris]

Let's see how many cracks you'll make when you get shot, flyboy.

[Michabean]

The Captain stands up and brushes himself off. He looks around. Has anyone gone to check on Smirg? He starts heading in the direction that he last saw the bodyguard.

[AoM]

Ira rolls his eyes. "You mean they didn't kill you after all? And here I was thinking we were free from your ever-chipper personality."

[Michabean]

The Captain continues walking through the brush looking for Smirg when he suddenly trips over something and falls face first in the dirt. He slowly raises his hand in the air. Don't worry. I think I found him. He gets up and takes a close look at the bodyguard, giving him a gentle shake. Hey, Smirg. Are you okay?

[Nalaris]

Sorry, but it's the enemy who goes down, not Smirg. Smirg's unscathed.

[Michabean]

Laughs Alright, doctor, is everyone patched up? I think we should keep moving here.

[Fleegle]

Yeah, yeah, I'm fine. Don't worry about me, it's my job to protect YOU. Nice to be in the thick of it again though, I was beginning to forget where the trigger was on my gun.

[Nalaris]

Your trip continues on peacefully until you come upon a man who calls out to you, "Hey! I've got important information for you and your mission! If you've got the money to pay for it, I could save your lives."

Ditch the whack job, I smell a trap.

[AoM]

Ira wonders what the ambassador has to say. After all, we're just the bodyguards right?

"If the ambassador wants to shell out the cash for this guy's advice, he's more than welcome to it. But I think we'll be all right on our own."

[Pie]

*he goes up to the captain and wispers in his ear*(becous he's still a little bit drousy)"I say we see what he has to say. he may say somthing important"

[Nalaris]

We wait for the captain's response, as always.

The Captain looks over at the man who shouted. What is the information regarding? He then looks back at the ambassador. How much money do we have and what is this supposed information worth to you?
