I believe I owe a brief explanation.

I was the 'model' Ranger for the better part of fourty years, a long time in anybody's book. I was raised in the idealism and history of the Post-Donna era, taking my lessons from Maily Yumm (Necessary Conviction). However, with time, this idealism that was best noted in my most famous IC work began to erode. The things I believed in I believed in no more. "The center cannot hold. The best have lost all conviction." (The Second Coming | Yeats). It began at the fringes with questionable rogue regimes, then infected those I held honest and true, until it took the one I loved and turned her away. Old soldiers just fade away. The Greek Tragedy of the character development/illusionment and final disillusionment of John Locke.

I was the founder of one of the most successful small-towns, considering all its handicaps. It became an influential part in island politics, and technologically beyond compare...due to wise investments, strong alliances and friendships, and economic ingenuity. Not only that but it had a strong sense of community and lore. The pleasantly satisfactory life of Andrea McTack.

I lost several characters many cantr moons ago, when in a blur of temporary insanity, I unsubscribed to cantr. I have new characters now, but still miss my old characters and their friends.
