Well, okay, we can twist this around a little. You don't have to necessarily kill a person in one shot, but you can hurt real, real bad.

This will open the way for healing to become widely used, so there will be real hopsitals. In addition to crime solving.

I insist on crime solving

I agree. The best part of this suggestiong is crime solving, not the one hit kill.

one hit killing, i don't think so....

as for the DNA fingerprinting, I'm sure it'll be in the works eventually but not a priority now...this would be a post-computer invention

What about instead of a one hit kill, a finishing blow? It would only be possible on characters with a low health left 10% or something, but would give better damage and leave perminant marks on the body.

All of the "crime solving" ideas concern the ability to discover information by examining a body. Currently the cause of death and murder weapon are visible on the body.

I don't think this would really be a good idea... I think it would be better if we would implument sections of a town(area around the house.. the backyard... the place beside that person with the bad hairdo... the place around the dead body...)
