
Personally, I love it when tourists come from big cities to "get back in tune with nature" or "rough it in the wilderness" or what have you. A bit annoying, of course they are. But it's always fun to see the look on their faces when they realize the messes they've gotten themselves into.
For example:
I was out hiking with my brother on my favorite trail, on our way to Hidden Lake. This is a beginner's trail, very close to the visitor's center, so lot's of tourists take it. So, about, oh, three miles into the trail (Halfway to the lake), a woman wearing designer sunglasses and carrying a purse (yep, a purse, in Glacier Park) asks me where the bathrooms are. I said, "Pick a bush, any bush. Just be careful where you squat." You should have seen the look of horror she gave us.
