Okay, I can't resist.

*Hands sammy some duckttape*. That works. Guaranteed, even on you.

Your hair will thank me when it gets tamed. :D

And besides, I didn't say the afro comment--Heather did.

And as for the duct tape--even that doesn't work. :P

There are... how should I say this... downsides of the physical variety... to getting busy while in any kind of water. I won't get any more explicit than that.

That's what I would have done--but the bathtub thing would have been better than all the rest even with the collarbone incident. :D

LOL I'd rather not...I've only broken my leg before, and I don't intend on breaking any other bones. 5 years and 3 days ago, when I was 8 and I was visiting my mom in Chicago, mom sent me out with Tom (my mom's friend) so she could wrap Christmas presents. We were supposed to go looking at the windows in Marshall Fields. Of course, on the way to Marshall Fields, you have to pass the outdoor ice skating rink. As we were walking by it, Tom asked if I wanted to go skating. I wasn't sure, since I'd never gone skating before, but he talked me into it. Not 20 minutes later, I slipped and fell. Unfortunately, I slipped even before I got to the rink!  There was a doctor there (he was just skating and happened to be there) and they finally got me up off my numb butt and helped me get to the street so we could call a cab. Of course, it ended up being a one way street going the wrong direction. Finally a hospital van saw us and went and picked us up. I got there, and Tom called mom--by the time she got there, she was pissed at Tom. LOL My leg was broken right on my growth plate. I had to wear a full leg cast home. Tom felt terrible...he pushed me home in one of the hospital wheelchairs because he was afraid riding in a cab would hurt, then he pushed the wheelchair right back. It hurt so bad. I was laying in mom's bed, and I'd scream because it hurt, then go "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry" and then immediately scream again. LOL Tom went and picked up my prescription in the snow, in a two hour line. Then the next day, he went out and bought me pants that fit around my cast. LOL He felt so bad! I still tease him occasionally, though. Anyway, WGN (one of the talk radio stations in Chicago) was having people call in on Christmas eve to tell why their Christmas was going to suck...I called, and I won a bunch of stuff because the announcer felt so bad for me! LOL

Well, I was thinking about the scuba diving but didn't vote for it for two reasons. First is that I do know of an island called "bob" so it's not unknown anymore, second: There's no such thing as :"apres scuba".

Cool, so you mean that there is really an island called "Bob"? Or is it in your head?? :?

I've never heard of anywhere called Bob, but i have heard of some small town somewhere called "Uranus" Is that not weird?

Man in the street : Where do you come from ma'am?
Woman : Uranus..

It's just a scenario that.. well i think you should all know where im coming from on this one..

Oh, and here:
http://wayhoo.com/index/a/sgns/detail/1 ... land+Flat/

Reminds me of a trip of mine from Holland to Guatemala.

Every morning when we changed watch, the captain, chief engineer and I would come together. And everytime the captain looked up at the sky and said:"look, I see venus" And every time I stood behind him and said: "look, I see youranus", He'd look up to the sky every time trying to find the planet and the chief engineer would run into the accomodation, sniggering, to have a good laugh in his cabin. Yeah, this went on for three weeks, everyday exact thesame ritual.

Towels? More like thermals, judging by thepicture i look at, it doesn't look like it has a beach, it just looks like mud in a swamp..

About the 'Bob' Island.. supposedly it's Two Bob. ? Does that not sound like cokney english? Lol..

Anyway:
Two Bob Island was a sumberged mud/sandbank up to 20 years ago.
Since the 1960's there appears to have been an increase in sediment deposition and a new mangrove
system has established. This may be due to land use in the catchment and extensive clearing for farming.
