Dynamite? (gunpowder)

I haven't a clue how to make the gunpowder, but if it was made in the dark ages, then surely it would be possible in cantr.

It would be a good way of removing unwanted buildings. And their occupants.

Dynamite and Gunpowder are two completly differnent things, I'll not list ingredients here for legal reasons. And we've had them suggested many many times.

In light of discovering some new weapons, how about adding a hooked pilum?

The hooked pilum is a spear with a long head, which is hooked backwards, for pulling sheilds clear of a person's soft bits.

Dynamite is Nitroglycerine stablised with sawdust.

Gunpowder needs coal, sulfur and saltpewter in specific amounts, and mixing it dry make it go boom, too wet makes it never go boom.

I either case, they will not be in cantr for a long, long, long, long, long time, if ever.

Should be able to stack crossbows. Get off multiple shots in one turn. Would need to have a disadvantage though. Chinese repeating crossbows could fire quickly, but then would need lots of time to reload.
Also, what about slings? Better rope makes a better sling, and perhaps using different things to make projectiles. e.g. project making steel sling projectiles using 100 g. of steel to make a lifetime supply for as long as you carry them. This would enable you to upgrade your shot if you want to. (Could also apply to different things, (slingshot)). The sling would only need to be made out of sinew or string or light rope.

No, not normal gun, water gun it would hit for about 2 strength and be very expensiv...
