I do that too--usually from 7 a.m. to like 11 a.m., or noon, and then from like 5 p.m. to 8 or 9. LOL

Really what we both have is sleep-phase disorder, not insomnia... Unless you have that schedule by choice.

I don't know. I think I just have what I call..."I don't have enough will power to force myself to go to sleep, even though I know I should" syndrome.

Then there are the days where I..go to go to sleep, but I just can't close my eyes. I have this fear I'll miss something if I go to sleep, cantr related SOMETIMES, but not always. Could be from something on the news to...a stupid phone call that i really don't even care about. lol

And then there are the days where my mind don't shut off...no matter WHAT I try. :( :( :( :( Those are the worst.

But eventually it allllllll catches up to me, and I sleep for a good 8 hours finally.

Seems we're all having the same problem. I've been working on it and tried to go asleep no later then 3 am adn to sleep longer than 4 hours a day, but I only wake up more tired.

I should have stayed 2nd officer instead of 1st officer. Great working times. 12:00 till 16:00 and 00:00-04:00. and a few hours of work somewhere in B-tween. Exactly my rhythim.
Now its mainly 12-6. :(

me too. it's like 2 in the morning on a weekday and i know i should get some sleep, but i play minesweeper or something equally pointless instead and then check my characters for another hour.... then when i wake up at 6:30 in the morning for school, i would kick myself repeatedly except i'm too tired.

I sleep normal. And I wake up normal. I think you people need to go see a doctor or follow this easy plan. At about 9 or 10 pm go lay down in your bed. Close your eyes. It's THAT simple. Or listen to Jars of Clay Furthermore from the studio. That'll put you to sleep FAST!

I probably should stop drinking so much caf too. I've stopped lately, I had to stay up to work on 6 papers and study for 28 hours a few weeks ago... finals are over now though. So now I can take damn break, at least when I work construction its only a set amount of time, and my body is so tired I just fall into bed and sleep... It's when I do intellectual work that my sleeping problems occur.
