Caves & dugouts (Duplicate Suggestion Rejected)

Postby David » Thu Mar 16, 2006 9:39 pm

Being able to dig out caves in mountain and hill terrain locations, you can put a lock or door on it but it requires resources such as stone or wood but cave building itself would require no resource other than a shovel, maybe there should be a limit to their size but it might make life a little managable in remote areas and show what somewhat true to life also the building of dugouts with a resource such as clay perhaps these buildings would deteroriate over time and need to be repaired a sort of temporary settlement structure for establishing outposts in sparslely populated areas\

edit - maybe the caves would need support timbers (using wood resources)

I think I remember it being discussed a long time ago as well, but I thought it was worth bringing up again.
