JAYNE: I don't understand why we didn't leave that sumbitch in a pool of his own blood.
MAL: We'd be dead. Can't get paid if you're dead.
JAYNE: Ten percent of nothing is -- let me do the math here -- nothing into nothing, carry the --
MAL: Jayne, your mouth is talking. You might wanna look to that.

MAL: So, she's added cussing and hurling about of things to her repertoire. She really is a prodigy.
RIVER: The human body can be drained of blood in 8.6 seconds given adequate vacuuming systems.
MAL: See, morbid and creepifying, I got no problem with.

Ah, I see I have some one to compete with then :D
Although I did enjoy watching Firefly, although it did only last one season.
However this kind of Scifi is in an entirely different field as the Scifi of B5. b5 is more... erh never mind. Nice show Firefly was.

Great show Firefly is.

Universal Studios has gotten the rights from FOX and is making a movie. Joss Whedon should be directing and writing and it should include the whole cast of the show.

There are also rumors that Universal might pick the show as well and air it on CBS or UPN.

Needless to say, FOX never wanted Firefly. I think you would appreciate it more if you bought it on DVD and watched the episodes in order as well as watch the 3 unaired episodes. They were really good and I think some of the best of what was put out there.

Firefly is great because it portrayed a realistic future. There are no aliens. Technology is pretty well advanced if you have the money to buy it. So there are lazer guns while at the same time there are regular guns. I mean they never even portrayed miracle medicines but instead had everything the same way but with advances in the medical field. People speak either English or Chinese or a mix. Before Earth was destroyed, there remained only two super powers, America and China, and that is the reason why English and Chinese is widely spoken. I love the fact they swore in Chinese to get by on the censorship. I now know that 'gorram' is Goddamn in Chinese and a few others that I shouldn't repeat on here. The characters were extremely well developed and acted like we would in real life. They say things that we would day and do things that we do. So you could relate to them.

Watch this show. It is one of the greats. It is a diamond in the rough. And as I said before, Firefly's fan base keeps growing even after it was cancelled. And everyday, I'm seeing more and more websites dedicated to Firefly and so on. You won't be disappointed.

MAL: Reavers might take issue with that philosophy. If they had a philosophy. If they weren't too busy gnawing on your insides.

MAL: Reavers ain't men. Or they forgot how to be. Now they're just nothing. They got out to the edge of the galaxy, to that place of nothing, and that's what they became.

JAYNE: It is my very favorite gun.

MAL: She has a name.
JAYNE: So does this. I call it Vera.

MAL: Well my days of not taking you seriously are certainly coming to a middle.
