It is a dealer incentive program. Every brand new car comes with a free tank of gas! Actually, I think I am cool with that idea for some reason. It wouldn't be too much stranger than a lot of other Cantr metaphysical phenomena.

Yeah, very true. Fuel can only work if:
Cars become easier to make before the fuel is implemented (like how gather rates went up before consumption rates for uncooked food). Little by little, it should go down, and the fuel shouldn't be a problem until a while after the car costs go down (maybe as much as a full cantr year).
When fuel is implemented make a full tank last several trips.
DO NOT implement car deterioration. Tool/weapon deterioration is bad enough as it is.
Just my 2 cents.

Hmmmm .. I can picture the pile of dirt motorcycles built just to siphon of the petrol for the King's Limo in that Gas/Oil poor zone .

But yes, I also think this is a good idea, no stranger than automatic iron locks on wooden ships .

Perhaps something like that could be added, even requiring a rubber hose/rube or something, but I think that as long as motor vehicles come with a "free" amount of fuel, it should be unremovable for game balance purposes.

Trust me, we are looking into all fuel sources, and we are trying our best to make sure that characters can reasonably have access to some sort of fuel. I think I have posted that at least three times now, perhaps eventually people will get the message. (Wishful thinking, I know.

You see a man in his thirties add some stone to manufacturing the Flintstonemobile "Rocky Road"
Heard of bicycles? Or the delusion of them coding riding animals? Or metaless vehicles? Or a walking stick?
They'll do what they want, and IM each other in condesending tones about us bitching over a game we play for free, and we'll have to do what they want. That's the way the game works.

Who's game are we playing? Who lays down the law? Who can ignore everything, anything that is said? The man that wrote the game, the man buys the time on the servers, the man that has churches to himself in his game.
Reality was never my strong point.
