I can't sign into MSN, nor Hotmail, and I can't get onto the irc. I feel completely cut off from my internet world.

Perhaps someone can help me? It said my default connection was offline, but I am connected to the internet.

I'm downloading a newer version of MSN, I'm pretty sure it's a glitch in the version I had. Though, I'm not sure why I can't get on the IRC.

Something similar happened to me and it was my isp provider running me through a proxy for some reason. I could access cantr and the forums, but not IRC. I don't have any IM services, so I don't know about that.

Hopefully my brother can reconfigure the comp, and that might fix it. I have a feeling it was a virus or something...

In the meantime, have you tried using the discussion channel link from the cantr main page? I mean not through irc, but through ie.
