It would be nice if as a project you could make chainmail too. I've seen bikinis made out of that before.....hee hee

Yeh... I'm naked all the time. Under those layers of clothing, I'm always naked.

Hmmm... I was born naked if i can recall right.

And the chainmail thing, that'd be an armour issue. And will B implemented really soon. Right? right?.
Life is fun. Play naked with Psycho-Pixie.

I don't know how much programming Jos has done for Clothes, so I wouldn't expect armour to be forthcoming, there may be other bits to sort out first.

@Camino: I found out clothing was ready the same time as you and everyone else :p

Such may come about soon if I can pin Cosmo down and force him to do my bidding programming wise.

Now that we have 'clothing manufacturing' + 'bone tools' it will then = the 'massive killing of animals,' due to the selfishness of Cantrians.

Yes, that is true, but something to be worked out in game. I would actually like to have bodies able to be cut up for their resources, which would help for the bone related things

Wasn't there a cathedral built somewhere in Germany where it was made solely out of the bones of humans during the Thirty Years War? I think it was destroyed during another war.

Yes, the Thirty Years War was one of Europe's most horiffic wars. It was a religious war between Catholics and Protestants but in the same way wasn't really a religious war as there were some Catholics that fought Catholics and some Protestants that fought Protestants. This was also the war here mercenaries were created. It wasn't uncommon to find Catholic mercenaries fighting for a Protestant lord or vice versa. And there wasn't really any defined side. Pretty much people killing for what they wanted whether that be for power, religion, or wealth and the list coudl go on. This was also during the time of the Bubonic Plague or Black Death as it was commonly referred to. So there was a lot of death. This was also at the same period where gunpowder, muskets, and cannons were introduced to warfare in Europe and started to become more common.

I guess in one city they decided to build a cathedral out of bones of the dead. I can't remember why they did it.

There is also a really good movie about the Thirty Years War called the The Last Valley. It's old but really good. It is about a valley in Germany where there is a small town. Because it is surrounded by impassable mountains, the town has been left untouched by both war and plague but then an atheist, played by Omar Shariff, happens upon the town after escaping the wars and plagues. At the same time, a group of mercenaries led by a Protestant but includes both Catholic and Protestant soldiers happens upon the town as well. The mercanaries were had actually deserted from their army where they were fighting for a very powerful Protestant Lord and were looking for some place to hide. The town is Catholic so they think since the mercenaries' leader is Protestant that the town will be pillaged, etc... but the mercenary leader doesn't do this. Instead he asks that they allow the mercenaries to live among them and that it doesn't matter who is what religion. In fact, to the protest of the town, he allows his Protestant soldiers to build a Protestant Church next to the Catholic Church. The atheist and the mercenary leader, who is called the Captain, become some sort of mutual friends and they try to lead the town by creating laws for both Catholics and Protestants and those without any faith. There is a conflict between the groups. And the storyline is too vast in order to fully explain so I'll let you guys go out there and rent it or something. It is a great movie.

The cathedral is still there, but I can't remember which country it's in. I don't think the walls or pews and such were made with the bones, but basically everything else was, like all the fixtures.

hmmmm....I thought it was destroyed in another war. Anyways, I believe it is in Germany. I'm going to try to look through by European History notes and find the exact name and location. Now that I think of it, it might be in the Netherlands.

The bone church is still standing in the Czech town of Kutna Hora.

It looks like it comes from a really bad vampire movie, but these pictures are real:
