The fall of the Cantr Smily
And so it is gone. The Cantr Smily no longer exists. It has instead been replaced by a standing human (Cantrians ARE humanoid!) or, in the case of my traveling character, what appears to be a giant shell with tentacles sticking out.

Remember back when it used to have a
and a
based on your character's health? Ah, this is indeed a nifty change. There's so many different images for different things. Bikes, boats, docked, travelling, in buildings even! This is niftiness, and a shiny medal thing should go to whoever put it in.

I got a problem after the change. One of my chars isn't accessable any more. If i click him i get to the one below. There is also no space between the icon and the name. In teh name column the sex is and in the sex column the name of the place is.

I like those new icons. Even if some players said that their are unreadable.

I'm studying user interfaces among other things and one thing we've been taught is to keep buttons simple. Looking at those things, stuffing several layers into an image makes it very messy. Best would be to make it as simple as possible. The boat symbol we have now is a good one. The one with an anchor is too stuffed. They are artistic but maybe a bit too much. The main feature should be informative.
