The Muck Pond

"His... name is... Felinibis!" a voice rang out behind him, slightly out of breath. The wildcat made no movement save for the light swishing back and forth of its tail. Turning to look, Deimos saw Bassus marching toward him, surrounded by a halo of fireflies.
"I believe you have something of mine, yes? Nevermind that you have stolen from a god, if you give that jug back to me now, we'll pretend this never happened. If you insist on keeping it, Felinibis here will hunt you down for his dinner. I believe that is a fair offer. I don't know why you wanted to steal my wine anyways, you were welcome to have as much as you liked. Some of you mortals I will never understand."

Omura arrived on the scene moments later, though neither Bassus nor Felinibis paid any attention to her.

[Pie]

(OOC: i thought I was going back to the muck... but this place is as good as ever) *He continues walking, and every now and then he looks up and scans the horizon for any sign of life.*

(For Pie. Sorry. But if it's all the same to you, I'll just carry on as normal.)

The walk up the side of the hill was uneventful. When they got to the top though, they saw a tall grey winged creature, sleeping at the side of the road. The lizard-girl scowled at it.
Ahead of them, the hill leveled off into a rocky plateau, the monotony broken up by the odd boulder. The path continued ahead, where it appeared to descend into a deep valley.

(Hmm, I wonder whatever happened to Beelzebub's player (the grey winged creature) - see it's been so long I forgot who played him!)

(Snake_byte played Beezlebub. Hasn't posted in a while on the forums, so I'm guessing he left.

How many levers are in the vehicle and where are they located? Ao will pull another one in any case. To him it's all the same.)

*he looks at the creature but still continues to walk doun the mountain path doun into the valley*

(OOC: AoM, on the control panel there are two levers, one moves up and down and the other moves left and right. Behind him, beside the door leading into the rear of the vehicle, is another lever (that you just pulled) that opens the very back door of the vehicle.)

[Nalaris]

((OOC: I took the cup, not the jug, but I'm guessing the result would've been the same both ways anywho.))
"You have something against taking one for the road?" He hands the cup back to the Lesser God. "As much fun as playing with Feli...whatever here sounds like, I've got more important things to do. Good day."
With that, Deimos starts off the path again, cautiously, keeping his eyes on the massive cat.

(OOC: It wouldn't have had the same result, but the fact that you kept talking about bottles and the fact that you used deception to take the wine, plus the fact that you said you took it from a nymph, when the only nymph I indicated holding any wine was Jilly with the decanter, and there was a cup full of wine just sitting there on a rock that wouldn't have required deception to take, led me to believe you were going for the decanter.)

Then Ao will pull the lever he just pulled back into its original position. (Presumably this will close the rear hatch.) Then he will pull the lever on the control panel that goes up and down.

(OOC: Ehem, fleegle, can you give me a discription of the vally now? It seams as if you'r ignoring me.

(OOC:but, if you dont HAVE a discription for the valley, i can just give an idea to you. HOW ABOUT MAKE IT A VILLAGE OF BIG BURROING HAMSTER..... thingys.....

(OOC: Hang on guys, I have to think up my responses. And yes, Pie, I will give you a description of the valley. Please don't make anything up. I have described the valley before, but it was a long time ago, before you started playing.)

(For Pie)

The valley before Ithicus and the lizard-girl was very deep and fairly narrow, and it was not straight but rather winding like a serpent. The path before them zigzagged to the bottom of the valley at a gentle decline. The landscape was entirely rocky, with only a few sparse signs of hardy vegetation here and there.

Bassus snatched it back and ran back to his clearing. Felinibis lost interest and leapt into the bushes in search of other prey.

(For AoM and Tek. I noticed that Ao didn't respond to Tek's question. So just so we're clear, Tek is NOT in the back of the vehicle, but outside and behind the vehicle)

The rear door closed as Ao returned the lever to the upward position. Meanwhile, he pulled down on the up/down lever on the control panel. The vehicle made a kathunk noise, and started to move backwards, slowly at first, but then it started to pick up speed. Tek saw the massive vehicle bearing down on him. He would have to move or surely be crushed by the great machine.

Omura steps out into the clearing approaching Deimos for the first time.

"I saw what you did. Why did you take it? You purposely stole that wine from those people. Why would you purposely steal something? I have to always explain to people that I didn't mean to steal anything and you did mean to steal that wine and they did not get nearly as mad at you as they get at me." She looks up at Deimos and pulls out the Groff from her pouch. "Here I got you this. I didn't steal it, I swear. It was offered to me, but I want you to have it."

*He continues around the path, and as he walks he looks around at sertain rocks and stuff*
