Does there have to be a point other than not having to stare at the same unchanging faces all the time. It's not as if they have any use like before when they reflected health.

Hmm strange .....the people inside look like their in the Amityville house.
.....the people outside look like someone just taken a golf swing.
.......Yay i can work the boat...out for sailing.
.......but walking looks like a an ink splodge test borrowed from a psychiatric ward.
...but hay pretty pictures, in my favorite colour.

The travelling on foot one looks like a blur. Why not just having a picture of a dude walking? Overall most of them are rather blurry. And what's with the stopped bike having a white triangle? What's that trying to express? Why not having a bike leaning forward like motion blur?

I agree with Sunni 100%. The Smiles were very Symbolic of Cantr on the Whole, and now that Important Unintentional Feature has been Dismantled in undue Artistic Haste.

As far as I can tell, it seems to be varied as to whether or not people like the new icons.

But I think everybody wants the :) :| :( back, instead.

I agree with Seko about the travelling icon. A simple walking symbol would be far easier to read.

They're growing on me a little, but I much prefer the smiley faces.

Strength definately.

Although maybe some sort of change if you're nearly dead from hunger. Some people starve to death without ever knowing they were hungry (busy characters).

I think the idea's good, just the graphics are a bit complex for the size. Some simplified ones would be good and when you've been injured they could turn red maybe. It wouldn't match the green, but it'd stick out :P

I'll knock some up to show you what I mean.
