You know you're an oldbie when you can tell that was a JJ post without even reading the name

Some of those things throughout the thread I vaguely recall - but I doubt I'd qualify as an "oldie", seeing how I started playing waaaay back, ended up with dead chars real soon, left, then played again after a while, ended up with dead chars again, left again... well, you get the idea.
But I do remember the first time I actually saw a link to Cantr on another website, it was on a tripod site - I think it was called "Fomig" (short for, if I remember correctly, "Free Online Multiplayer Internet Games") - I heard that site still exists somewhere, but the old url which I had to it hasn't been in use for one, maybe even two years I think.
And I don't recall who it was, but the first time I played it was because someone I knew from IRC suggested it to me.
I'm just glad one thing in particular changed: not getting killed anymore for getting spawned

And for my two bits:
You may be an oldie if you remember a place in some mountain-place that only had stone, where a hermit lived who lured bypassers into his house and killed them, probably to rob them of any food or valuable stuff.
Although, when I went through there (well, went in there, never got out) that house was already lockable, so you might not be THAT old if you remember that.

This was changed a few weeks after I started playing. Alas, I'm on my way to becoming the youngest oldbie (I hope)!!

I remember everything Rkl says...

When you work for Tony Stewart when he was trading things in blojt.

When you remember helping to found the commonwealth. (Chandos, whoot.)

When you remember your first clan member when there were still four clans of olip forest. (Busty Larue)

When you remember the day that all the characters in cantr suddenly didnt recognize each other.

If you founded the "Smoke Jaquars"

If you founded "The Trade Federation" clan in Olip. Forest.

I think we'll have to reflect this topic in the content of the next Issue of the Webzine ;)

Piers came before the sneeze attacks I think. There had to be at least a Cantr decade difference between Piers massacre of Cantr City and the introduction of colds.
