My char only met Kabong briefly, while he, (Kabong) was on the back of a tandem, but liked him very much. Glad he's doing well.

I will say Eomer Rohan. He slew Baron F. And even though that fight is not over, he at least did his part in it.

Very Mad? Evil? He helped slay the Barons. That's a good thing.

If you're going to bring up that little group, then I'd have to say Sieryuu as well, he did what he could. And Priestess Samantha too

From another perspective someone might say Baron F was a hero...

Yes, but that is only from a certain character's perspective.

From a player's perspective, if you think Baron F was a hero, then you might have a leaky brainpan. :)

Yes, Priestess Samantha definitely was, she got as many people as she could to safety while staying behind herself to protect her town. Earlier I was trying to think of someone to post about in this thread and I can't believe I forgot about her until now.

The mass evacuation of Blaman Forest was definitely one of my personal highlights, even though a few old farts here will think it insignificant in the grand scheme of things. I am only sad that my real life obligations kept me from being alert while she was silently being hacked to tiny bits, ending in a rather anti-climactic finish for my poor little priestess.

One of my characters was on both sides first with the forest then a Baron and I would have to say both the Priestess and Baron T. are heros in their own way. The Barons are ruthless to those they fight because the Barons see them as people disputing a valid claim on that area, but on the other hand they are quite caring and friendly to each other. A real life example of this would be Alexander the Great and the Greek Army under him, they gave no quarter on the battlefield but when the fight was over they weren't ruthless and the same applies to the current members of the Barons Clan. Also I would like to say I agree with Dr. Avery being on this list.

also, if they find a traitor in their ranks, all hell breaks loose. I found this out the hard way.

Aren't they ruthless to everybody? Travellers, sleepipng newspawns, etc. I think any 'valid' claim they may have on an area was caused by murdering the previous citizens anyway...
