By th way, Coramon was just curious about the number of gay vs straight people. Hell, not everyone knows all these different designations or have even dreamed that they exist. Why can't someone ask a simple question without getting the crap beat out of them. I don't think most straight people are that informed about such matters. If I can speak for some straight people, I don't give this issue much thought so I would likely simplify the question myself.

My initial post was laced with a fair dosage of sarcasm-y-ness, as is most of what I say - but I realise that don't always translate all that good via the wonders of forum communication

You're seeming to suggest that sexuality can be defined by a number of delineated categories and a final 'don't know' box?

The whole concept of sexuality categories is a social construction, much like gender.
Sexuality can be, and is, something more fluid in nature, not limited by pigeon-hole-ing people into certain categories, and related stereotypes.

And I hold my own view, really. That if you just like your own sex, you're homosexual. If you like the other sex, you're heterosexual. If you like both, you're bisexual. I guess I'm not knowledged enough to understand all these variations, but I'm assuming that this is what the people who 'invented' these words meant. I mean, look at the prefixes...

But, I think you can think whatever you want. That sexuality is fluid, or whatever, or that anybody who has relations with people of the same sex should be castrated. I don't agree with either, but I respect anybody's right to believe anything.

I think I would love to be gay if it wasn't for the buttsex part. Yeah that's a deal breaker for me there. Other than that my friends and I love to make others feel uncomforttable about their own sexuality. You know weed out the homophobes.

There is nothing like walking into the locker room before practice and shouting "So should we have the buttsex now or after practice? We better do it after practice that way we are all sweaty!"
