The Muck Pond

The Pink One looked up briefly, eyes bulging. He turned and fled back into his house.

(For Pie)

Ithicus made his way through the forest to the Groff fields. This time, only the wind stirred in the field.

[Razorlance]

"Hello, yes you are going to show us the way to a bridge I believe. I am Tek and this..." he focuses a limb towards Ao "...is Ao" He focuses the same limb back to Shasan. "Why would you not use a name, surely you want an identity?"

[Fleegle]

(For AoM and Tek)

Shasan seemed to grin mildly, though it was hard to tell since he was a goat.
"Identity? Identity is an illusion. Names are illusions. Where do I end and you begin? At the skin that I wear, at the air that I breathe? Is it not the same air that you breathe?"
"The Bridge that is sought, it is a bridge of the mind, the mind of the One."
Shasan closed his eyes. In the blink of an eye he had disappeared.
"Ahoy!" a voice hollered from some distance away. Turning to look, they could see Shasan on the other side of the caldera. He looked to be scarcely bigger than an insect at this distance. A moment later, he was standing only a few feet away, grinning in his goatly way.
"The Bridge you cannot see with the eyes alone."

Erake laughed as the Pink One ran back to his house and her gaze went back to the food on the ground. She made a disgusted face and walked away from it. She continued looking around, peering into homes until she came to the large stone building. She peered cautiously into the opening where the door was slightly ajar.

[Razorlance]

Tek watched in disbelief as Shasan performed his amazing feat. Such power they have here, he thought, how can I possible do that?
He continues to focus a limb at the huge distance between the two mountains crests, then turns back to face Shasan. "There is no bridge, that is magic, like the wizards use, how can we perform such trickery?"

[Pie]

*He passes the groff fields and enters the muck pond*

[AoM]

"My friend is right, Shasan. I see no bridge with my eyes or my mind. Just you dissapearing and then reappearing." Nevertheless, Ao closes his eyes and tries to visualize a bridge spanning the width of the caldera. This was a confusing earth-servant, but he supposed that Eriadina and Kikkik wouldn't have sent him to this one if Shasan was a crazy fool wizard.

Omura checks to see if Ithicus has left site before walking up to Deimos. She looks into her pockets and notices the Groff. "How did this get in there?" She says to herself and places it on top of Deimos' body before running back to hide in the bushes.

[Fleegle]

(Global statement)

The moon had completely risen above the tree-line. In the mountains they had a clear view of the asending orb.

(For 3shy and Leo)

Erake peered into the doorway. It was dark inside, but the tiny bit of light from the outside illuminated a sliver of the interior. She noticed, at the back of the large cavernous room inside, something glittering.

(For Tek and AoM)

"Good, good," Shasan remarked. "The one with five legs. You must close your senses too."
He turned to Ao. "You must clear your mind of distraction. Concentrate. Imagine a circle, trace the circle in your mind, around and around and around. Picture the circle getting smaller. Keep tracing it around and around until it gets to a point."

(For Pie)

Seeing nothing of interest around the Muck Pond, Ithicus continues on to the Old Temple. Before reaching the archway, a small lizard-girl approached him.
"My friend, she fell asleep. She was going to help me find my mommy. Will you help me find my mommy?"

(Swymir and Nalaris, I got nothing for you. Swymir you can do something else if you like, and Nalaris whenever you want to wake up you may.)

[AoM]

Ao does as the goat suggests, envisioning a circle and concentrating his focus upon its outer edge, moving clockwise around it's curve. As he does this, he imagines the circle becoming smaller and smaller, until it becomes nothing more than a speck in his mind.

[Razorlance]

Close my senses? Tek thought, well I will try. He closes his 'fingers' around the end of his limbs, pulling himself into a flat circle as he does so, then he concentrates on the imaginary circle in his mind, focusing round and round and round as it gets smaller and smaller until he can barely see it.

[Fleegle]

(For AoM and Tek)

As the creatures meditated on the circle, they suddenly felt an uneasy feeling, like they were falling. It passed as quickly as it came.
"Ahoy! You have done well," Shasan's voice rang out from the distance. "You may open your eyes now."
As they did so, they realized the landscape had changed slightly. They had moved to the opposite side of the caldera, just as Shasan had done earlier. They could just make him out on the side they had started from. A moment later he too crossed and was before them once again.
"Excellent. You have proven that you have what it takes to see the Bridge. That was just a test. You have yet to cross the Bridge to Xunis' domain."
Shasan turned toward the rising moon. "Watch the moon. Ignore all else. Trace it like you just did with the circle. Don't let your concentration be broken."

[Nalaris]

(He'll wake up eventually...)

[Pie]

*He turns to stand in front of the lizerd girl(Witch, he knows not the name of) and looks down at the lizerd girl, putting his hands on his nees as he squats down(Just a little bit, not that much)* Oh.. of course I will help you.. but I have to meet with Ilso..... the old man inside...I will be right back.*He then smiles at her as he enters the temple*

From the bushes Omura waits to see what Deimos will do when he wakes up and sees the Groff. She hides herself as best she can taking extra precautions to not be seen.
