I'd just like to clarify the "goal", if any, of the Muck Pond. This is occasionally hinted at IG, but I thought I would make it more explicit. The Muckies are created out of muck by the god Anesek with the intention of helping to restore faith in the gods. The "good" characters should be trying to encourage the various NPCs they meet into believing in the gods again. "evil" characters should be trying to mess things up for the good characters, trying to prevent this outcome, provoking the fears of NPCs, trying to get them to turn against the good characters and the gods. "Neutral" characters can just wander around and do whatever they feel like. What kind of character you are is totally up to you, and you don't have to stay good or evil or whatever... you can have a change of heart.
You will notice that the Pink Ones have started praying to the creatures of the Muck. Since the plague, they have begun, slowly, to believe in a higher power.
Of course there are all the side quests I throw at you... they are mostly oriented towards either restoring faith or keeping it down.

A gamemaster suggestion: How about having events happen even out of our character's views, like a thief sneaking about the forest, or two close civilizations in a feud just few miles from us? This could really emphasize the reality of the in-game world, wouldn't it? Witness could report of such events and create a hook for our characters.
Yeah, you have been making such events, like the plauge upon the humans, but you should make more of those to make the world more alive. As long as you're organized, I think it wouldn't be a problem.

That's why it shouldn't even be mentioned in the thread. It should all be at the gamemaster's reach so if some character eventually visited some witness of a certain event, a hook-up would be born. The gamemaster could make one or two out-of-character's-views-events to test things out.
Notice how weak and petty we are / In the grand fixture we come afar / Hey we can't help it / No denying the prerequisite for love / Your very existence / You're the source of my substenance / Slow down take your time and feel the / Flow

Garob is always up to something. He wouldn't be the God of Trickery otherwise. I do have larger goals in mind when I'm writing, but it is hard for me to get into them without characters moving around. My intention has always been for it to be a journeying sort of story.
The Ao and Tek storyline is moving along nicely. I had hopes for the Squall storyline, but her player seems to not be around anymore. It looks like Andrik, Ithicus, and Erake have some potential for a decent story, and Omura and Deimos look like the start of something good too.
As for an over-arching plot, well, we'll just have to wait and see. The game has picked up some speed from its previous lull, and hopefully we can keep it going. Ultimately it is the players that add the most flavour to the game and help to keep it interesting.

Remember, Pie, that Ilosep is the god of Justice... he wouldn't kill you just for talking back to him. Another god might, but Ilosep represents justice. And you are right insofar as Ilosep doesn't care about things like love and mercy. He is only interested in retributive justice. So you're really just barking up the wrong tree.

One side of the dome opened into a large rectangular room, with a giant sliding door that seemed to lead outside. The floor in the rectangular room was made of grey concrete. Parked on top of it was a dominating vehicle of some sort, made of a shiny grey metal. It had two wide tracks and towered about 9 feet high. There was a large rectangular hatch at the back, where the vehicle was tallest. From this angle they could just make out a smaller oval hatch near the front, just over the track wheels. There were a few very small oval windows along the side, and a large canopy window at the very front, the bulge of which they could just make out.
The hatch was slightly larger than the one he had entered the vehicle through, and had a lever clearly intended to open it. beside the hatch was another, larger lever, the function of which was uncertain.
Meanwhile, on the outside of the vehicle, Tek jumped slightly as it started up, the noise unexpectedly loud. Try as he might, the massive rear door would not budge, and there did not seem to be any buttons or levers that might open it.
Which door am I opening, I thought it was the large sliding one to the outside, yes?

whew, so I'l live. You know, that right there, wat just happened, is why i don't like the whole "god of [insert atribute]" thing. I mean, they are gods that will only work towards their oun atribute, and nothing els. Their atribute might be cruel.. and other things with it, but it's still their atribute.
