I am SICK to DEATH of all the CRBing, Cheating, OOC information use, OOC influences and general unfair play.

Hence I am more than likely quitting. One of my characters is now locked up with a maniac player who's killing me for no reason, all because an idiot CRBer called Gohanez (deadboy on forums) cheated.

I emailed the PD about Zhift Forest, and they did nothing- didn't reverse it all, even though it was a CRB. Then my character came to the next town and they still did NOTHING when Thomas Geod and Gohanez cheated using information to pass to each other. This is obvious when Thomas Geod states things that happened before we fled Zhift Forest, even though a) he wasnt there b) he left there many years prior.

Due to all this cheating I may lose one of my best characters -again- to unfair play and cheating.

Quitting over a single situation? Anyone who has read the forums know that there is cheating in Cantr. It is bound to happen in a game that gives this much freedom.

I think you are taking the rules to much on yourself, just look at the number of threads you have in the CRB forum. I suggest you spend a few more days before you hit that [x] and roll with the punches for a while. Try to enjoy the game despite what others are doing, instead of hating it because of it. And stop trying to police anyone you suspect is CRBing by calling the PD on them and counter CRBing. You might find out how fun this game can be.

Like I said in the other thread, It looks to me like all the CRBing in Zhift was a result of previous CRBs. I don't know where it started, but it turned into a CRB version of the arms race.

So if you haven't already hit the [x], take a step back, evaluate the situation, and try really really hard to play the rest of it out IC.

You have been playing for a while. Are you going to let the petty stuff like this ruin the rest of Cantr for you?

This will not be the first time people will tell you to keep more distance between yourself and your characters. This will not be the first time they will ask you to show restraint and common patience. This will not be the first time they will advise you to avoid naming names in public.

Fates willing, it will be the last.

Jos and the PD have the last word on CR decisions, and in my experience they are swift to render judgment where it is needed. If they did not act, they presumably had good reason not to. Either way, trying your CR cases in the court of public opinion is not the way to get PD action.

Join the club. Get over it. Work to change the status quo, but don't make a big fuss about it.

This would be a sad, sad thing for Cantr if your playing style and gifts to the forum were widely acknowledged to be something special. Unfortunately, I think I speak for most players when I say that you have been more disruptive than productive.

Edit: EVERY ONE of my characters has in some form had someone cheat -against- them. It actually makes me quite sad/angry.

Hence the reason why I want to quit.

The occurences within the next few hours determine whether you get to see my characters now or later when they're dead.

At least you know the center of the Zhift Forest issue was me

But yeah, the reason why you'll find out within a few hours is because whats-his-(ugly)-face will probably finish my fav (yet not most-popular or richest IG) character.

Sho, considering I'm most likely leaving, I'd like to say a few words to you.

You must be going through youe mentrual cycle 24/7. You're a complete asshole in every post.

Anyone who I've asked -hates- you. They think you're a complete ass.

The question is, why? I saw 'Sho' was the next person to reply, this is in general too, and I'm like, ooh he's going to be an ass as usual.

Thetaris, who did you ask? Never asked me that question, that's for sure..

One thing I'd like to point out...

Even if the PD rules that it is CR, they cannot REVERSE what has happened. You would still have to go forward and play with everything as it is. It just means that hopefully there wouldn't be any more of that in the future from the player accused of it.

And the PD will have more evidence that they can find on that CR than you could ever imagine from your tiny little perspective. All they need to know is the character's name and they can trace a helluva lot of stuff. So they see a bigger picture than you can or ever will see of the situation, and have more to base their opinion on than that one tiny piece that your char is a part of.

So relax, and stop throwing around accusations. Those don't win you favor and don't give you credibility. Remember the boy who cried wolf?

Alright Thetaris, those angry comments about Sho just made me lose any remaining respect for you.

I've always found Sho to give decent opinions and frank and reasonable advise, if you can't take what he says with an open mind and give him a bit of respect for what he has to say, maybe it would be best for the rest of us if you do leave this game.

No one's really sure why Sho sticks around since he has been very banned for having something like four accounts in the Russian area, all working together, and no one speaking, much less russian.

Btw, Sho - my brother says thank you. He found your town, and unlike you, he does speak russian.

In anycase, Theatris, do what you feel you need to. Don't make me no never mind. But, for the future, here's what I suggest, which may be a bit like others have said.

1: Take some time to chill. Go play some other games. Adopt-a-canadian, Nowhere else and beyond, something else. Just go play and have a good time. It'll do you good to get out in the cyber world.

2: If (when) you come back do a couple things.

A: Don't tell nobody. Just play the game, have a good time being back, and don't worry about any grudges, real or imagined, coming in against your charries.

B: If and when you feel someone is cheating, EMAIL PD FIRST. Seriously. Then they can look into it and handle it, and you can avoid and CRB chatter on the forums.

You've grown up a lot since I watched you get creamed for being a newb with the stone knights, and I think you might be worth putting with one day, but from all the tangles you're in now, a self imposed time out might be best all round.

I have just noticed this forum, about you complaining about me CRBing, which obviously I havent been doing, and then i go on Cantr to find you calling me by my other characters name and trying to kill a completely separate character just because i play him... that is a blatent CRB
