Oh, hey, me too!

*cough*

What? Fine, so I don't play. Is that any reason to exclude me from the post-whore party? Huh?

Um, it's happening in towns as well, not just on roads...

Someone CRB'd by using a glitch to her advantage and killed a cow...

I think there probably have been a few of these instances... little difficult to monitor really, since it's such a widely-affecting glitch...

I would like to say, this is definately either a big glitch, or the best new feature I've ever seen!

I just hunted 110 times, and killed of all the agressive animals in a town. THANK YOU!

This is a blessing on the ravaged lands of Aki and Burgeo/Ailip, a nusicane elsewhere.

If it's not intentional, it should be fixed, but my character that over hunted already had in game justification for her actions and was calling it a blessing from her god after the first few rounds.

YOU ROX JOS!

Of course, now this means I have to wear a slitted leather skirt ... but these are the sacrifices one makes.

It is against the rules to knowingly exploit a bug.

Unless ProgD knows what the problem is and can fix it pronto, an in-game announcement would be a very good idea.

Oh $h!t ...

I saw that post, but didn't bother to look at the author, figured it was of the usual debate. I apologise for taking advantage of it, but it's really payback for everything those animals have been doing to us there over the years. I sorry.

Well, as much as I'd like to, I will discontinue. In game message would be good for those that don't get to the forums.

Don't worry too much, Agar... I'm sure that more animals will quickly migrate in from the surrounding towns. *evil laughter*

[Edit: I also wasn't aware that it was a bug until I checked the forums - which I do AFTER I go through my characters.]

Agar's town isn't the only one that's doing a lot of hunting. If we're not supposed to threre should be a message like he said, people may not know otherwise.

But really I wish it'd just stay like this, all the towns have hunting laws already anyway, a whole screen of hunting is annoying, but towns could make laws about how many time a person could hunt a day too.

EDIT: And at least it doesn't work for people, can you imagine how scary that would be? :D

I think it's necessary to limit hunting to once a day. I wouldn't mind twice a day either, but definitely not unlimited. Besides, it would be far too difficult to monitor whether people were obeying the laws in the game if it were left to ig devices.

*Edit*
e.g. There are 60 people in a location... say the law is you can only hunt five times a day.... five times 60... 300 possible hunts (if they just hit one animal).... say this place has about 5 animals that stay above the minimal required to hunt... 1500 possible hunts a day? Then the leaders/law enforcement people have to pay attention and sift through their events to see who accidentally hunted 6 times to rigidly enforce the law... just would get too messy...

I was annoyed enough in one place where they overhunted today...

Yeah, nobody is getting that it is a bug untill they read about it. What`s wrong with you people? You were never able to hit animals twice and then you go and hit them several times and just expect that it is normal? This bug is terrible and is exploided in many places. I have a few characters that actually work for their food and have to rely on the accasional animals they kill, but I still haven`t used this bug. I think people who have done so need to be penalised somehow.

I totally agree with Jaguar45. Is it so hard to understand that it is bug? I suggest to punish all this bug abusers. Set theyr hunting skill to awkward.
At least to that characters who exploided this bug after announcement. I understand, that it is nearly impossible to restore hunted annimals and withdraw accuired goods from bug abusers, but decrease their hunting skill imho is easy. That would be good to restore animals killed due this bug, but it is a lot of work...

EDIT: Just got better idea: Do this bug to themselves. I.e. Let other characters to hit bug abusers more than once per day :) Sounds fair, isnt? :) Do it for the day without announcement and then announce this but let it be as long as this bug fixing :) Sounds fair, isnt?

I temporarily disabled hunting. Of course we know full list of those, who exploited the bug.
