If you have mIRC, connect to irc.gnug.org port 6667 and /join #Cantr. If not, go to Cantr main page and click on a link that says Cantr Discussion Channel, it will open a browser based access to the irc channel.

You need to have a Java Client installed in order the access the chatroom as well.

Most computers already have Java but if you don't you can download it from www.java.com and if that still doesn't work go to 'Tools' in your browser and select the 'Internet Options' anf then go to the "Advanced" tab and make sure that Java is enabled.

And be careful in there. Those people are a bunch of crazies in there.

Firefox, Mozilla and Opera have built-in IRC clients that you can use. So do Trillian and Gaim.

I'll write-up a step-byte-step mIRC guide for the wiki (been meaning to for a while)

But it'll have to wait until I get my computer back on Monday...

Thoughts on this thread...

- I really need to go ahead and get Trillian. All the kids at my school have it. Actually, no...all the computer geeky kids have it, and those are my friends.
- I'm not really computer geeky...
- Nakey-in-da-bed sounds cool, and is very accurate when it comes to my nighttime habits...
- I don't play Cantr in bed, so I'm not naked right now.
- I wonder how many people do?

All right, my n00bish info. Even though I'm not a n00b anymore, right?

Age: 15 (freshman...blah)
Sex: for moral, not religious reasons, no
Gender: female

I've lived in Raleigh all my life except then, and I live in the Manchester subdivision of North Raleigh. That info's for all you Southeastern stalkers. I love NC barbecue. I am a Southern girl. I <3 this town.
Hair: brown
Eyes: blue

color: grey
movie: Jarhead
hobbies: Cantr, acting, writing, and singing

I <3 my boyfriend, too. 1 year, 4 months...ish?

Wow. That was mad long.

One year and 4 months!!!

That's long, and impressive. Especially for a freshman (like me).

Age: 18

Sex: I’m a guy, that would be male for those of you who think biology terminology is cool.

Location: Bouncing between Las Vegas NV, Kingman AZ, and my school outside of Dayton OH. Currently in OH at school.

dreams and aspirations? - I’m in the process of trading in my dreams and aspirations for better ones.

Relationship Status? - Single, but at a collage with more girls than guys, so who knows what the near future holds.

Favorite Food? - I had a kahlua-coffee-chocolate-cheesecake from The Cheesecake Factory on my birthday last year. It was so rich it was like the oil baron of food. I don’t think anything has topped that yet.

Pretty close, I'm in Cedarville.

Have you ever eaten at the Chinese restaurant in Yellow Springs? It's the only Chinese food nearby that comes close to the West Coast American-Chinese food I've grown up on.

I have...many times. Decent place.

Cedarville U? Good location. Great school.

If you like Japanese there are 2 really good places in Dayton and 1 good place in Marysville near Honda...I was there yesterday.

Do any of them fit into a students budget? I haven't been to a good Japanese restaurant since my grandmother took me to one in July.

So Stan, do you want to share the footnotes of your biography with us too? I think we all want to know what your favorite color is.

Oh yeah...sorry. My Bio:

Male
Age:35
Married with 2 girls (10 and 6 yrs old)

Occupation: Marketing Manager with GE, Real Estate Investor, Small business investor

Degree: Mechanical Engineering

Favorite Color: that blue color on your dashboard that indicates your high beams are on

Hobbies: Travelling, boating (and anything else in the water), volunteer work (Church Finance Director, Missions Team Leader, Sunday School Teacher, Children's Ministries)

Dream: To sail the oceans with my wife and girls for a couple of years. Making plans now.

Fav Food: Sashimi or Donato's Pizza

I sleep about 3 hours per day. I love to accomplish things. My passion is building...building businesses, building organizations, building churches, building houses, building a sales territory. I play Cantr because life moves too slowly sometimes and I can use my creative energies in game.

I like to win, but I like to help others win even more. I advise people to never bet against me...with God on my side, how can I lose? :D

I love God. I love life. I love human beings. I love animals...especially sea creatures. I love my wife. I love my girls.

My cup overflows.
