The Muck Pond

[Nalaris]

Deimos sighs and decides its not worth the trouble. "Fine, little one, if you want to be annihilated by this world, you do that. Don't say I didn't give you a chance." Deimos then starts walking off to the south.

Omura peeks out from her hiding place, watching as Deimos walks away from her down the road. She breathes a sigh of relief, but decides to follow him down the road, in order to keep an eye on him.

[Pie]

*he grabbs the glass with care, and drinks first a sip, and then a mouthfull....* Hmm.....

Deimos returned to the area surrounding the Old Temple. The lizard-girl eyed him cautiously as she continued to hit at the nearby trees with a stick. The young woman (Squall) at the foot of the Temple seemed to have fallen asleep, for she had not moved from the spot Nalaris had last seen her in.
Omura slunk into the area at a careful distance from Deimos, though there was not much cover, and if Deimos had turned around he would have been able to see her quite clearly.

The wine had a good punch to it, with a distinct flavour of berries. It was clear from Bassus' behaviour what sort of effect the wine could have on someone. It was difficult to believe that this stumbling pig-like creature was a god of any sort. He did not have the look of wisdom that Ilosep had, nor the imposing yet majestic form of the great serpent Resuso.
Bassus grabbed Jilly by the hands and danced with her, his feet making awkward movements in the dirt. He spun about and crash-landed into his throne, settling in with a dumb grin on his face. Another nymph who he had not introduced ran up to his side and began to feed him berries from a small, crude wooden bowl.
"Ayy, ah wissh Yannissshha was 'ere..." Bassus slurred, between berries.

The rock man pointed ahead eagerly. "The Mother's Mouth, we have arrived then..." Though the cold had been bothering Ao, the sight of his journey's end helped to warm the living metals within him. If a rock could somehow show emotion, he would have been giddy. "Come on!" he rumbled happily as his plodding picked up speed towards the opening in the mountainside. "We've made it!"

[Nalaris]

Deimos stares at the lizard girl, and finally says to her "What is it about me that you find so interesting?" He's a bit tense from the experience the four armed...thing...

"Yes, we have made it to the entrance to Eriadina's sacred domain," said Kikkik. "Once we are inside we should be safe."
Mother's Mouth lived up to its name, in that it was most reminiscent of a mouth, though it was difficult to see what made it a mother's mouth. Just within the cave, a large slab of rock restricted further passage. An ancient script was etched into the slab, and the slab itself looked like it might function as a kind of door.
"Ahoy there, Kikkik," a greeting voice suddenly rang out through the cave. As there was no light, save for what spilled in through the entrance, Ao and Tek could not see the source of the voice.

The lizard-girl stared back at Deimos with her burning eyes.
"You're funny-looking!" she spat. She then returned to hitting the trees with her stick, seemingly ignoring him.

[Nalaris]

"Half lizard half human hybrid makes out a bit more freakish than myself, I'd think." Deimos says, heading towards Groff Fields.

[Razorlance]

"I am glad we made it Ao, I hope you find what your looking for" Tek mindspoke then peered into the darkness as he heard the voice then focused a limb on Kikkik as he mindspoke. "Is that her, is it Eriadina?"

[AoM]

Ao turned to Tek and mindspoke. "I am made of the earth, and so must I return to it. I come here to serve my goddess, if I find her then I have done what I have set out to do."

[Pie]

*He starts to stunble, but quicly grabbs a tree near to him* whoa. Well.. I tink dat I showaled ga.*He then stumbles along a path near him, trying to ceep his footing, but frequintly stumbles*

Omura watches as Deimos walks away from the old temple and she eyes him cautiously until he gets out of sight. Omura then looks around to make sure no one is paying any attention to her before making her way to the Old Temple which has grasped her attention.

"Erk!" Kikkik exclaimed. A small brown bat fluttered into the light and perched itself on a stone. "So good to see you again! It is good to be home. Oh, let me introduce you to the creatures of the Muck. This fellow here, he's Ao, and this here is Tek. Ao, Tek, meet Erk, guardian of Eridina's domain."

"I might not look like much," Erk mindspoke, "but I do my job well."

"Erk, there was a wizard lurking about on the mountainside, could make himself invisible. I think he might have been seeking entrance to Mother's domain. You will keep an eye out for him, won't you?" Kikkik asked, not noticing his mistake.
"Kikkik, I never realized you had a sense of humour." Erk chortled. "You know I can't see. I will of course devote the rest of my senses to protecting Mother's domain from the wizards' sacriledge. Have no fear."
"Thank you, Erk. My friends here seek passage into Mother's inner sanctum. I personally vouche for the characters of both."
"Of course, Brother. Mother will be pleased to have guests."
Erk fluttered to the top of the cave. With a light rumble, the stone slab slid into the side of the cave. A poorly lit tunnel spiralled down into the heart of the mountain.
"It's a long walk to the inner sanctum, but we're out of danger now. Shall we?" Kikkik said, motioning toward the open door.

(For Nalaris. I've skipped the intermediary location of the Muck Pond, since nothing is happening there.)

Deimos made his way into the Groff Fields. He nearly stepped on the tail of a serpent as he trudged through the long crops. Resuso reared up suddenly from the groff, towering over Deimos.
"How WONDERFUL!" Resuso exclaimed. "Lady Anesek sure has been busy. ANOTHER creature of the Muck! Welcome, my wonderful friend. I am Resuso, God of Food. Please, help yourself to this wonderful plant. It is called groff, and it will taste like whatever your heart desires. You have questions? I would LOVE to answer them. How wonderful."

"It's got quite the kick, doesn't it?" Briker commented. "So, what are you boys planning on doing? Lots of adventure to be had out there. Me? I've had enough adventure for my short life thus far."

(For Swymir)

Omura noticed an old man standing inside the Old Temple as she approached the archway. "Hello there," greeted the old man, angling his head to see who approached. "Why don't you come on inside? There is something I must give you."

Omura jumps back as her attention shifts to the old man. She looks him over and senses no threat from the man. Slowly she walks over to the old man. "Go inside? But it looks dark in there. Scary things live in the dark." She walks up to the old man and her arms unknowing to herself begins patting the man down grabing whatever they can and replacing them with the sticks and stones she had stored in her pockets. "I am not a very big creature. What if something in there eats me? I don't want to be eaten."
