Empty roads, with people picking up notes.

Postby Coramon » Fri Jan 20, 2006 8:38 pm

I saw women picking up notes on 3 of my characters, two are alone but it says;

1417-6: You see a woman in her twenties take a note.

1417-5: You ate 95 grams of your rice.

1417-6: You see a woman in her twenties take a note.

1417-5: You ate 22 grams of your smoked meat.

In both these cases there is not, and has never been, anybody around to pick up a note. And, they are on a road, if I'm not mistaken you cant pick up a note on a road. Can anybody explain it?

It's a glitch. Just like the way all your travelling chars will sometimes see boats undocking.

Funny, I just saw that too with one of my traveling characters. A woman in her twenties in that case too...
Maybe it's something like this?

/Hellzon - ze plot thickens...

EDIT: Lumin snuck a post in while I was writing. Bad Lumin, no cookie for you! ;)

It's funny because I posted at the same time too. but saw that it had been said twice in the time it took me to get my post out, so I quickly deleted mine.

Moved to support

Someone should add ghost ships and ghost note thieves to the wiki somewhere, I was about to - but where?

It's a good idea. Create a FAQ and link to it from the main page, under "The Basics"?

It's a good idea but people already don't look at [url=http://www.cantr.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4429]Known Bugs & Workarounds (PLEASE READ THIS FIRST)

stickied thread in this forum ... Ghost ships are an example of a known bug reported in this thread, so maybe they won't check the Wiki either :wink:

I'll just add that thread to the wiki - I'd completely forgotten I did that :?
