Cancel Lock Breaking Projects

Postby Crosshair » Thu Jan 19, 2006 11:13 pm

is it possible to make Lockpick projects cancelable? We find in some places projects for picking locks from the 700s sometimes, and it is unlikely that any attempt to pick a lock would go unrepaird for that long. If a lock picking project is not being worked on, i think people should be able to delete it, to relieve the clutter in places, and to improve security.

Edited for thread title. -rklenseth

Yeah... there's a couple of projects that irk me all the time. I mean, I have to check several times a week if someone has started working on an old lock picking project.

Find someone who is awkward at picking locks to fail at it for you.

Stop being a smartarse. Thats different to what i was suggesting. Working against, and stopping alltogether, are two different things.

Making all projects cancelable/timing out is already in the works (under accepted suggestions), I assume lockpicking will be part of that.

You didn't read my suggestion all the way through did you. :( I suggested you could work against it until it dissapears. It would solve all the same problems as the suggestion hallucinatingfarmer brought up (on flyspray list already http://www.cantr.net/flyspray/?do=details&id=87) , but it would give more vercitility in the game, and make people responsable for cleaning up their own towns & buildings.
