Oh, and I think Nick Blackrock or the TBR of recent should be nominated. They aren't rulers of territories anymore, but they sure are aiming to be villains.

I agree, although he was hella nice to his friends, and helped my charry out a bunch.

I have one charri who has met both...and both were very nice to her....not much interaction with Nick, but he told her what she wanted to know... As for Stylez...much more interaction between them...very nice...very friendly... very helpful.... She only recently (more than 4 days) realized a change in plans and had mixed emotions...sad of the change.... happy he found what he did....

The term villain is fairly subjective though. Several of my characters could be seen as villains by individuals or groups, but not by others or even themselves.

Is he still alive, even after I died? So you lost Baron F, then S and you keep going. Good will power.

Floris wrote:I think what Nick and Stylez we have an example of people who were made villains by their enemies. Ie that the Blackrocks started with a will of good but that their enemies treated them in ways that made them villains. At least that's my perception. I have a char who knows them as a friend, and they are very friendly and kind but to their enemies they can be hard.
I have seen Nick give all people a chance and he only treats them hard when those people appear to be his enemies, or appear to betray him. And there are a lot of people who do so, for the name Blackrock is a Black name on the K-Island.

Lord Nick is a proprogandist, and K-island gave him every chance for mercy. By all rights, he should be dead if not for the mercy given to him by some of his enemies. Fat chance he'll remember that though.

I disagree that K-isle made him evil. He was always the aggressor, always the malcontent. He desparately sewed tales of conspiracy, talked of far-off threats to maintain control, and authorized assassination missions. He's a victim of his own paraonoia, turning the view of his tribe into an us versus them mentality. He needs enemies to maintain his power. He'll continue to make enemies until the day he's put down.

If that is true AOM, his player should be praised for it. *smiles*

Now how on earth has Baron T managed to survive for so long and reach a leading position? I always considered him an idiot but maybe that's what he wants you to believe...? Either he's more clever than people thought or then it's just relying on fool's chance.
