Tiredness affects dragging now?

Makes sense, but a little warning would have been nice...

Tiredness has always been taken into account when dragging (at least as long as tiredness has been implemented - way over a year ago)

Oh. My bad, then. I never really had all that much experience with combat.

But I could have sworn there was a recent thread here complaining that it didn't...from what I read, it sounded like if a person wouldn't budge hitting them would be a good way to make dragging work. Or does it just have to be a more significant injury than a non-iron weapon can inflict?

Ah ... you don't mean tiredness then :) - you mean the physical health of the person being dragged .. yes, damaging people makes them easier to drag ... but it also makes your own tiredness increase ... so .... :)

Yeah, I knew health effected it but I didn't know tiredness did as well. One of Marian's characters was stuck at 77% while trying to drag somebody off a boat, so I told her to hit the guy, but then she dropped to 72%. I guess it would've been more effective if she'd had a better weapon.

Anyway, it looks like someone else woke up and was able to help, so the situation should be resolved now. :)

Usually the damage done to the target more than makes up for the tiredness increase of the dragger, but only if you deal more than, say, 15 damage.

The issue to me is more why dragging someone does not make you tired? I would say dragging someone is more tiring than hitting them...

Yes, I agree, and that was the issue of the previous thread, mentioned earlier in this thread. :)

Doesn't it? I'm pretty sure I've had characters get tired from dragging.

Probably not 15% per drag, though.

No currently dragging of people or objects does not produce tiredness .

Personally , as I've said before, I believe it should

Tiredness from combat is due the practical need to limit how many people you can hit. If you want an in-game justification, just pretend that hitting someone involves a bit of melee besides just knocking your arrow and firing.

I remember these conversations from when I was obsessed with Cantr a couple of years ago IRL.
