I've only lost one...Tried to abduct and assasinate the Piers Anthony. It might have worked if her allies had actually turned out to be allies. Instead, she was eventually cut down by nearly every high-rank member of the AHMC while fighting for control of a van on the road between the two towns.

Silas McElroy: He returned home to Kiii from a resource run to find all of his friends dead in the yard and three people inside the workshop forging claymores. He tried to play the tough guy for his girlfriend in the boat and stood out in the yard demanding answers from the strangers. He was dragged inside, his girlfriend undocked in a panic and shanghaid him there to become a practice dummy for pirate claymore training. She did manage to sail back into town late at night to try and rescue him, but had unfortuantely given the wrong key away before they left home, and was forced to slip a note under the door instead finally confessing her long unspoken love for him and a prayer to hang on. (heh, long winded but he was my favorite character ever and my first to di so now you know)
John Schermerhorn: had devoted his life to delivering wood healing foods across the desolate plains to the people of Hilloi. Was murdered by the Barons in Alenz hills South for witnessing them stealing the popcorn man's van.

Joshua: My very first character. Got locked in a building and starved to death.
Ron: Was accused of something and got hurt. Had no shield, got killed by a wild boar, which I dispise. Now I have a new Ron character.

Rita: She was in Naron when some big shot died. She picked up all of the keys and weapons and shield with the intention of giving them back. but the story doesn't end like you think it would. She hopped on a bike that she picked up the key for and sped off. No one came after her. Feeling very paranoid, she wouldn't stop anywhere for more than a few hours. Soon, as she was in the mountains past Querk (wierd place, but that's another story) she realized she had forgotten to get food. In the mountains she ran out completely. Knowing she wouldn't make it she handed away the keys. She died in the middle of nowhere, with no one around. And its no use trying to find the stuff...that must have rotted away or been taken at least 20 years ago...

I've had many die from various reasons, some that I remember is one that sailed and discovered a new island of nothing but fish and sand. He had no wood so he starved to death; but his partner and him left some symbols on the island.
Another was just building his boat for a life of piracy when he was captured and killed by other pirates... how ironic.
And another was locked into a building and beaten to death by some guy out in the middle of nowhere.

Thetaris died because ... he said ONE thing out of place while a couple were proposing to each other... WHAT'S UP WITH THAT!
So official rules in Olipifirovash Forest are:
1. No one is allowed to take anything from the ground even if it's yours
2. Any innocent people who are decidedly thieves will be killed regardless of laws of another town, and the killer is allowed to go free
3. If someone proposes to another person, and you say anything, you die.
4. If you have a name that people don't like, you die.

lol Some hilarious deaths you have here! I'm sure I've told all of mine many times before but wouldn't waste a chance.
Maryan - Before my first character death, a thought of dying felt so distant... A van rode to town as I was gathering salt, and a nice gentleman asked people to assist him in dragging some people off the vehicle. I stepped in to help him without paying second thought to it. The next time I logged in, they were on the road, there had been shouting, of how the van had been stolen, someone had jumped into the car and there was a full sword-fight going on. I got hit too, and the carjacker handed me a sword to defend myself. But I thought I could talk my way out of it. Surely they must understand I didn't know! You can't kill a citizen of Sjoftich, at least not without a fair trial! ...Yes, I was new and unfamiliar with the ways of Cantr. ... The next morning I logged in to find her dead. The death message had them arriving to some part of Alenz, where somebody introduced himself as Piers Anthony, "sorry but you're all going to die", and hit me with a sword. At least I seem to remember it was him - for some odd reason the character names were replaced by serial numbers. Then he told his lackeys to attack us and the next strike killed me swiftly. Too bad I don't have the report anywhere.
Yvonne - Her whole life seemed like a waste of time, she was near the end of my initial bunch of characters, where I had started running out of fresh ideas and based her mainly on a physical description. Through ingame experience she was shaped into a pacifist, but there was no room for such on that island (Nonirowk). I failed to find her a goal in life, so all she planned was to visit every location on the island. And once she arrived to the last one, and saw that there was nothing more to explore, there was no reason to turn back. She sealed her diary, dropped most of what she was carrying and I rp'd her going for a swim. Then I pm'd a PD member (I think it was Missy) and asked for a deletion. She asked if I was really really sure about this and I said yes. I think the next morning when I logged in, I saw the death message and I felt hollow. The whole process took about three days. It's funny standing out there, prentending to be floating far away on the waves when you can still read what the others are saying.
Dove - Was in a location where about everybody's main active time was after midnight my time, so I often had to stay awake too long to get a chance for interraction with the others. Also frustrated that her fiancé wouldn't make a move forward. And also I had the feeling everybody hated me because I made the blurt of expressing thoughts in rp more than once.
Then I came up with a thought that a brain tumor would be a logical explanation for the hallucinations she'd been having from time to time. So she started having occasional headaches, dizzy spells, nausea and a few epileptic seizures. I was trying to starve her into death and sometimes went into the library and made her hit herself (this was the time before the damage bar was added into game, so no one could see what in particular was making her weak). But people tended to feed her... It's a bit hard to drop your carrots without anyone noticing. One day she had especially painful headache and also overreacted to the faint smell of cooking, making the conclusion that her brain had burst into flames. She ran outside screaming... Gregor McGregor would hit her in the head with a chisel to release the "bad spirits". That probably gave her a few days more to live, but she got a fever and in the end believed to see the ghost of Jessamin McGregor coming to take her away. It was a good death.
I had written the "last words" beforehand in notepad but still had to edit them in a hurry when the time of death came. This time it was negotiated beforehand that the death would happen when I was online... So it wasn't as much of a shock as with Yvonne.
Maline - She arrived to Sjoftich after escaping from the Barons, shocked and wounded... They dragged her into the medic's office and I think they gave her healing food, but there was a shortage of daily food in town, so even though she was given rice a couple of times, eventually she ran out and was too confused to ask for more. She slowly faded into mere skin and bones and once she went outside for a swim and almost drowned. No one seemed to care at first and I was messaging Sparkle to put her out of her misery alrea, but she had just gone offline, and then Priest Alexander was already wading in to save her... and they carried her back to the damned medic's office, back to the loneliness and despair. Alexander was the only one to stay by her side in the end, and he was very sleepy at the time. In the end she wanted to see the birds... and he helped her get dressed, then to stand up. She started blacking out before she had taken the first step. I was still hoping he would get online in time to take her outside, at least they could avoid the trouble of dragging the corpse! but it was too late.
I was in the chatroom, telling people my character would die on the next feeding time. And then someone told me the feeding time just went. I felt frozen. And for a couple of hours I didn't check Cantr, feeling that if I didn't look, she could live forever. Then I checked my email and the death report was there. All the time I was hoping that on the last minute, a miracle would happen and someone would bring her food. She was my first character.
Sorry that my characters won't die in funny ways. There are still others left but I feel tired of writing.

Nice to know that now my baroness can rest in peace knowing the only one who got away died. To bad she lived longer than me.
Lets see I don't think I have many funny deaths.

Ah, fine, I'll post a couple.
Chris Noonan, killed by Stone Knights, although I CRB'd him back in the days when I played Cantr as a game rather than a RP Society Simulator.
(sitting here trying to remember)
(gone to go check my email box to see who died)
(almost done)
Felina Shriof in Akypor Forest. She was harvesting oil, when she slipped up and all the food in her inventory fell and oil went in her eyes and hehehe no one noticed! And she was blind without food! Wait, oil in her mouth too, so she couldn't ask for food. She starved.
I made that all up. The only true bits are the starvation, her name, and location.
ALMOST FORGOT!
Valus Enigma!
I'm surprised he wasn't reported for CRB, cause it sure as hell looked like one.
The galleon he was travelling on couldn't undock, and Valus was always a quiet man in the corner of the Galleon, just eating potatoes. He stood up, held his palm forward at the docks, and 'ensured it would never undock'. When the people started realising he was 'magic', the crew got angry and kicked him off. He cursed the ship to sink, and fled. He got hunted down on the road.
SUUURPRISE sUUUUURPRISE!!!! IT WAS IN OLIPIFIROVASH FOREST THAT THEY KILLED ME AGAIN!
Ignore my spouts of anger...
Forin Haler. He did nothing wrong. He picked up items from a dead body, and there was no unified government in this town to look after the possesions, so he looked after them himself. Everyone wanted a share of it, so they took it off him.
THe bastard did a weight test, and he stole my iron. BASTARD!
Eventually they had no need for me, and killed me.
Anyone remember Travi Mon'Terra, the cynical lawyer-like bastard? I think he spawned in Quillanoi Forest. He critisized the gods, or spirits or what ever was there, and ended up being killed.
OOOH!!
Melakt Hilsara and Raven Traig.
My two BEST characters (richest and most influential) who were slaughtered in the mountains. (no surprise, there's no government or anything in mountains, just bandits).
Wow... going thru my email and reading all these ex-characters...
Must be at least 20-30...
And Leonard Williams, back in the time of me saying IN GAME 'OMG WHATS A CRB' and 'LOL THIS GAME IS KEWL... HOW DO I BUY GUNS?'
-He met Stylez! In prison, though. And stylez killed him! I felt honoured.
Here we go, the email is almost a year old, but the quotes is still the same:
1308-3: You say: "*he sighs psycotically* I'd rather not induldge in
your petty, somewhat stupid conversation. *he frowns at what he said,
thinking, how is it stupid? he begins to think himself insane* Just
finsih me off, please? You both have weapons... Use your fists if you
must. Feel bad about yourselves that you killed a human being, or feel
good that you killed a criminal. Either way, it litterally SKETCHES
your personality here for us to see... Let me give you a little
incentive to help."
RIIIGHT! He went insane... I remember now.
To which the woman said,
1308-6: <CANTR REPLACE NAME=char_a_woman_in_her_fourties> says: "At

and
1308-6: <CANTR REPLACE NAME=char_a_woman_in_her_fourties> efficiently
kills you using a steel long sword.
OOOOOH
1306-5: Stylez says: "I don't imagine the farmers would be all too
interesting.. It acn be amusing to watch this one,h owever. *he motions
over towards Leopold* The thief still sounds quite interested in taking
his own life... <b>He also thinks our friendly conversation theother day
wasquite suspiscious. *winks*</b>
It's been four days... Hm... More like 100 cantr-days!

You forgot the part about slapping a couple of Stone Knights without any provocation. I suspect that might have had a bit to do with Valus' death also.

You wouldn't happen to know my experience with Stone Knights, now would you? They've killed 3 of my innocent characters, when I did nothing wrong, and 2 non-innocent. The non-innocent no. one was illegally killed and no. two was a dragging practice before he was murdered.
Dragging practice? lol.

When I was naive in the Olip area, I actually respected the Knights. Oh well...
But anyway, my most interesting death was a guy named Kristoff Tanner, had a girlfriend of sorts, Marigold White. They planned to be pirates, and halfway through building their ship, she died. He was heartbroken and went crazy, trying to maintain a normal life, he fled where he had been living, roamed to two more towns before completely snapping and punching a man on the road to try and get himself killed to join his beloved...

I remember Kristoff, I didn't know about the piracy plan though.
But seriously, what is it about Quillanoi Forest and pirates? I mean I can name several that built a boat to, "terrorize the lake." Right...and they really expect to get away with it....
And about the Stone Knights, they get a really bad rap, but if you tried joining you would see it is the most organized and helpful knighthood of any. my characters have joined quite a few. But bar none the Stone Knights are the most interesting to RP with.

One of my favorite characters who was a hunter has recently starved due to the lack of wood in the area, had over 2 kilos of uncooked meat. He was gonna start a new town and all that in the area he was in. Big plans, big plans... But now he serves his purpose by supplying newspawns with dozens of crude ready to make bone tools and loincloths.
