How about the most active characters? Though I bet julie2 would hit the jackpot there, her charries talk so much.

We're always looking for more submissions. I know there's a lot of good ideas there, please come forward with anything you have, or any ideas.

We do try to respond to every submission we get, but some slip thourgh. If you have sent something in and haven't heard from us, please, give us another prod if need be...

You can get hold of myself and Sarah, the webzine editors at webzine@cantr.net

EDIT: I'm also stumped for ideas for the next statistics article - mostly because I haven't had time to think about it - please feel free to send any suggestions to the address above...

Any kind of timeline on this? I submitted something and would really like to know if it got accepted ...

If anyone knows, a PM letting me know if it was accepted would at least put my mind at ease...

How about some statistics about locations? For example, people tend to cluster around certain cities, right? How many people are in those cities, compared to the areas around them? Or how many people are in what kind of area (hills/plains/mountains/etc.).

I'm thinking about writing a statistics article myself, but it'd be a bit more technical than databased, about how the 20% resource gathering distribution affects hourly gather rates. :D It should be quite interesting by the time I'm done

Thank you HF and Sarah for making me informed. It's good to know at least something was decided.

Ever thought about all the animals in towns? Maybe the ratio of animals to people in towns where there are people outside, a pie chart of animals milling about the town square.

And speaking of animals, maybe a factoid about how much dung has piled up. Or the piles of large bones sitting around waiting to be turned in to clubs and scrapers, or all the animal parts in general.

Had another idea. Total amounts of resources currently in circulation. It'd be interesting to track these over time, watch how resources change in response to new rules in the game. :D

From what I've seen, resources just accumulate and accumulate - when I saw the amount of potatoes and carrots that had been dug up and were just lying around outside, in buildings, in inventories - it hurt my head - too many numbers...

It was all ready to go out last week (only a couple of days later than the intended release date of dec. 1st)

It /should/ be out this week - the delay is my fault, I'm back home at the end of the semester with a crappy internet connection and better things to do than work on Cantr (like... er... putting ikea flat packs together... and... um... stuff)

I ran my own business for two years and all the tables and chairs were from ikea. We fit 38 chairs in out sedan to get them home from idea. Had them sticking out the windows and everything but tied to the roof.

Ikea is great!

Webzine better!

"Only one Cantrian seems to have deemed it worthy to build a bench..."

OMG omg omg is that my town?! Since they built a bench, I don't know if it was finished before the statistics were collected but I'm sure my character manufactured the planer used in making it... Come and see the almighty bench in Plaekur forest east.
