- Was a founder of the Olipfirovash Forest Clans (now called the Stone Knights)

- Helped form the Common Wealth of Blojt

- Formed the group "Smoke Jaquars" and reined for a very short while in Krif

- Was one of the first guards in Quillanoi, though very grumpy.

- I am the Leader of TBR

- Joined a band of people that seperated from the Empire of Lad, helped kill a couple sleepy leaders from the town.. recently killed by the town of Naron

Those are the ones that I like... *nod*

Damn you Seko, you messed up my merchanteeting plans to exploit the new world.
What else have my chars done...
-Briefly overthrough the Quillanoi democracy in a bloodless coup.
-Formed a Sultanate in Brunoi
-One char set up his best friend and comrade to be executed so as to not interfere with his rise to power.
-Also had one of the Magnificent Seven involved in the Smoke Jaguar war.
-Started a semi-well know religion
-Mapped most of the Olip-coast
-Started the first intercontinental travel and trade company (as far as I know)

Using only my past characters:

A slave who was killed when she was mistaken for a pirate captor.

A woman who travelled her entire short lived life without a bite to eat bescause she was too trusting.

A baron who didn't think she was doing anything wrong.

A woman who refused to communicate with those around her and stopped caring enough to understand them.

A man who had the average end of being in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Wait a second. Is this the I am/was thread? when I read Agar's post I understood it to mean things you thought were so clever at the time you started it, but you turned out to be just another one of a dozen or so of the same thing. (or maybe you were the first and now there’s a dozen newspawns who think they have come up with an original idea that's not so original)

my examples would be:
- the greatest master thief/con-artist of them all
- the super flirt
- the crazy killer
- the entrepreneur (trying to sell something that it turns out everybody has)
- the lost puppy dog that follows the first person they meet wherever they go, until one of them dies.

Ok so I don't have any characters in some of those role but I thought about making them just after I started. Then I read the forum and found to it's been done. And all my hopes and dreams were crushed

* Started the Stonecutters which evolved into the Stone Knights

* Worked for Alenz Hills Mining Company until the boss died and then took over. We just smelted 25,000 grams of iron in 15 days.

* Massacred most of Sring-Sri island

* Built a boat and sailed for 40 years until I starved, never finding a dock again.

* Had a character die of starvation because I kept putting off going into his house to get more. I guess the time got away from me.

* Drove some guy who claimed to be King of Renoiv mMountains out of town where I hear he caused a bit of trouble in some other town.

* Chased a female thief who was being chased by an angry mob... dragging her into a locked building in the next town, telling her I was hiding her. I then sat and held her captive, toying with her mind because I was bored. I gave her a crowbar and watched her try to break the lock over and over while almost starved. She finally got out.

* Undocked a boat before docking was implemented.

* I own a limo

* I somehow built a cottage on a ferry back in the 500's

* Was a general of the Lad Imperial Guard

That was you with the cottage on the boat...I think I remember that guy when I tried to trade limestone or something with him.

And one of my current characters was wondering why Sring Sri was filled with dead 40 and 50 year olds.

When mine arrived after the massacre was long gone, his lifelong companion died. I swear, that island is cursed with an accent on the e.

:) Ah, Tarnok, I'm guessing. A little browsing goes a long way. If Hayden didn't pass on at that moment, things would be very different now. He was planning to make the island into one grand university with campuses sprawled throughout each location, since all the resources one could ever need to use to experiment are readily at hand. However, her passing marked the final pages to the Encyclopedia, and dissipated any such dream, splashing cold reality and gloom on his face.

Hobbes, great writer of the encyclopedia, stopped in his encylo. writings by some punks death? Oh, the humanity.

Some lover, some punk, same difference, yeah? What does it matter when a character can achieve love without ever commiting in the physical act of lovemaking? It raises all those questions of 'why does one do what they do?', which was in fact the question he raised on his final entry. And he replied, too, and I biasedly agreed with him, having known all the details of the tragic story. I touched on it briefly in the 3 article series on him, which still requires one to pull and extract the details and put them together to form the true story. I've submitted it already, but it won't be published for a couple more months, at the very least.

Nonetheless, the brief extracts, essay, and flash fiction to be released with the 'zine is incomplete in capturing some of the biggest elements of his life (i.e. the one that ran before and parallel to the creation of the Encyclopedia, which is only hinted at here). I'm hoping what I'm planning creatively for the Chronicles of Cantr will put this incompletion (solely on my behalf, not Thomas') to rest.
