Larger than the 120 pixel limit, but fine to me.
I think I've gotten more messages about my avatars than anyone else though ;-)

:) Very nice picture for your Avatar.
If i can actually get my photo small enough, it will be a miracle.
My pc tells me the pic i want to use is under 60 pixels.
But its the filesize that seems to be my problem.
So it looks like i'm Avatar less till i work it out.

Do you mean that the filesize is too large for you to upload it onto the forum? If so, you can upload it elsewhere and link it to the forum.

To my knowledge storing things on the forum space hasn't worked ever since we had that worm that destroyed the layout. At least none of my attempts to upload a picture after that incident have failed.

I'd go to a place like www.photobucket.com and then put the url to it in the off-site linking space on your profile... that's how I do all of my avatars...

Yeap, uploading on here's a pain. I tried about 5 times to upload the right size when I knew my file was less than the 5kb requirement. I gave up and uploaded to geocities, then linked it to here. :)

I can't remember the last time I had an avatar that lasted longer than a couple of weeks...

And, yeah, there's generally a 100/120 pixel width limit on avatars - otherwise it screws up the forum layout for those poor people running on 800x600 resolution...
