The Muck Pond

[Razorlance]

Tek focused on the bridge then to Ao. "It does look quite sturdy, but..." he pauses looking at the bridge again. "it is awfully narrow, let me try something". With that he raised himself up onto two of his limbs then began to, what could be described as, leaning to one side until the limb next to the one he was standing on touched the ground, as he did he lifted the other limb he was standing on. "Well, that was not too difficult"

He repeated the movement again but quicker this time, then again and again, pushing at the ground as he lifted each limb to gain more momentum, until he was in constant movement, which made it look as if he was cartwheeling. As he wheeled about he mindspoke to Ao, "I think I have the hang of this, see you on the other side" Then he angled towards the bridge and shot straight across it.

Once Ao sees that Tek is safely across he moves across the bridge as steadily as he can, holding onto the railing as he goes.

The construct examined Ithicus as he seems to attempt his fate. The slit of Andrik's face as it's sight veered over to the others, and the head turned from side to side as it let go of the massive corpse. It then pointed down to the dead body, and then at all the pathways that a humaniod can travel on, keeping Squall, Gaela, and Shaakh in it's range of view most of time. It then resumed to it's upright stance, seeming to wait for them to respond to it's gestures.

Oh, I'd say we should bring it tothe feild's, over there*Points twards the feilds of groff*, it seems like a big enough place to bury a body like this.

As Ithicus thought on summoning an elemental creature, a bright green light appeared beside him, just hovering in the air. It expanded and separated into tendrils of light, weaving around in a slow vortex. The vortex increased in speed and became brighter. Something seemed to be forming in the center of it. The light vortex suddenly evaporated into the air, and a large boulder appeared beside Ithicus. The boulder started to rumble and shift from side to side. The rock separated at two different points, forming crude legs. Then two bulbous "arms" of rock emerged from its sides. The rock-creature ambled towards the Tagus, and began to push on it. Unlike the two Muck creatures, the boulder did not pause to rest. The Tagus shifted slowly (though not as slow as before) but steadily towards the Groff Fields. Not a sound emerged from the boulder as it obediently did its job.

(OOC Note: For all intents and purposes, the boulder-creature is now in the Groff Fields, so if you want to interact with it or the Tagus body, you will have to send your character into the Groff Fields.)

Ao made it across to the other side of the bridge, where he met up with Tek and Kikkik. Kikkik flittered about and came to rest back on Ao's shoulder. "Good, good. That wasn't so bad, was it now?"
Just then, Tek spotted a shimmering but transparent form in the middle of the bridge. The form looked as if it were made of water, but it was difficult to make out its shape. Whatever it was, it was coming towards them cautiously.

[Razorlance]

Tek was about to lower himself back down onto four limbs when he noticed the strange apparition on the bridge. He focused his upper three limbs on it as he mindspoke to Ao and Kikkik. " I think I see something on the bridge, it looks like the waterfall has come alive... and it is coming this way". He decided to try communicating by mindspeaking towards it. "Hello water creature, I am Tek, what is your name?"

[Lumin]

Squall glances warily between the snakeman standing by the pond and the two somewhat dangerous looking new arrivals as they try to drag the giant animal's corpse. She's a bit curious as to why they decided to go through all the trouble, but just as she's about to ask, a bright green light forms and some sort of rock creature appears.

Her eyes widen and she begins to edge away. Nudging Gaela, she whispers, "It's getting too weird here, and I don't think these creatures know anything useful anyway. Let's go."

Glancing around, she sees a sign pointing up a hill to some kind of building, and starts towards it, hoping to find someone who'd lived around here longer than all these muck creatures had and might know where to begin looking for Gaela's mommy.

As they walked toward the temple, Gaela began to grow visibly uneasy. "That place looks scary... I dun wanna go in there!"

[AoM]

Ao simply watches the water creature curiously. He tries to listen in on Tek's mindspeak, if such a thing is possible. Otherwise he will wait for the creature to approach.

[Lumin]

Squall turns to Gaela, exasperated. "I thought you wanted to find your mommy? You're lost, and I don't mind helping, but I don't even know where to start. We need to find someone who knows something about this place."

Seeing Gaela is still frightened, she sighs. "All right, this is what we'll do." Pointing to a nearby boulder, she says, "You wait right there, and I'll go have a quick look to see if anyone lives in that temple who might be willing to chat. I shouldn't be gone long, so don't wander off."

Muttering something unintelligible about having to do everything for herself, she hefts her club and continues up the hill.

[El_Skwidd]

Shaakh looks on in awe as Ithicus summons the boulder creature. He watches the boulder push the huge body of the Tagus away towards the Groff Fields.

Shaakh thinks for a moment. If Ithicus is capable of such an amazing feat, why shouldn't he be? He concentrates for a moment on summoning a creature of his own. The slits in his eyes narrow as he focuses on a spot on the ground, leaning in closer and closer until his face almost touches it. Finally, he sighs, and looks up. Seeing Ithicus and the creature moving the body towards the Groff Fields, he quickly follows to ask how he came about his amazing power.

[Pie]

*He continues pushing the body, but stops when he sees the Snake creature coming up to him. He then stops pushing, looks at him as he aproches, and asks*

"Yes?"

He slides closer as Ithicus stops.

"Ithicus, I witnessed your feat at the pond. How is it that you conjured such an amazing beast?"

[Pie]

"Well..... I went to the temple, you know, the road with the sighn by it... and Ilosep........ gave it to me......."

[El_Skwidd]

Shaakh thinks for a moment.

"Ilosep taught you this power? He must be a powerful being indeed. I can find him at the Temple, you say? And all I do is ask?"
