The majority of this topic covers a suggestion that has really already been accepted, see:
Inventory Items

The above topic is about generic Inventory Containers. One type could be called a Key Ring, another a Coin Purse another a Toolbag etc.

Generally engraving on object of all types, is a possiblity , I'm not sure if we need a specific engraving keys project just a generic engraving project , and anyway , how often in RL if you find a key does it have an engraving along the lines of "Apartment 14, 435 West 57th St" on it ? or even "Jenny's Key".

Why not have a scripted inventory. Where grouped items are only shown you choose to do so. Preferably even have preferences remembered.

INVENTORY

(-) resources:
328 grams of barley bread
12 grams of iron ore

(+) objects:

(-) notes:
a note 'map of the Known World'
a note 'last will'

(+) keys:
Time flies like an arrow, fruit flies like a banana. - G. Marx

Yeah, I have the following keys in my pocket right now:

6326
6024
1246
1700
3392
5168

Fortunatly, I have the numbers memorized with the doors they can open.

Note that I would also like to see a key ring made, as I have characters with far too many keys.

I don't understand why you guys bother doing lists, when you're already losers. My charrie has 59 keys. Just one char. :)

Having looked in the database there are characters carrying more than twice that number of keys . I guess all but one person is a loser then

Who cares how many keys one has? If you have more than ten, you need a key ring. Which is why they don't exist.

On the subject of Bags and stuff, could having a bag increas your inventory room a bit? We RP having packs mostly, but it would be much more realistic if we got more room out of our inventory by using a bag...
