Completely off topic, but to continue on with that story...............My char, a wanna be pirate, docked onto that boat, meaning to do the same....steal all he could. But he didn't. He liked the boat. Katie did mention her friend Willy who had gone to chase a thief but had never returned. And she told him a story about some other guys who had stolen from her, so my char decided to help her. They docked somewhere to look for those thieves, but Katie never woke up to identify them. Katie Hoggs died not long after. My char inherited her boat......and all her keys.
(Actually, it wasn't a darter, it was a soarer)

Granted, the only char I had there was short-lived, but the few people they saw spoke English. (And the char was set to be spawned in an English area)
Dynamic spawning means that since there is now a significant English population on the Russian island, it is now possible for English characters to spawn there.
Since the Russian population is insignificant, I predict that within a couple of Cantr years the Russian population, established and newspawn, will have to either assimilate or die due to English overrunning of the Russian population and infrastructure centers, and PD (or whoever's court this ball lands in) will have a major headache finding a way to make room for Russian players.

One of my characters has been travelling with another for 11 Cantr years, exploring a seemingly undiscovered continent. We have visited nearly 25 towns, and it feels like we've barely scratched the surface of this land. We have encountered maybe half a dozen people in that entire time, not counting our spawntown, which had four other people.
Beatings will continue until morale improves!!

Cantr: Cantr City/Ladvicitavoi, Siom/Quillanoi, Tircqi/Sjoftich, depends on choice on what you want to call it. It's been mapped by Thomas Hobbes, preliminarily by Rylan Ashcroft and partially by Armedian Koloff.
Pok: Krif-Drojf-Seatown, Olip areas, Akypor, Doryiskom, Dorian, etc; mapped most significantly by Andaru Treefeather, and also to some part by Rigel Starseeker.
Sring Sri: Mapped by Bill Smith.
K isle/Nonirowk: Karnon, Kirinn, Kwor, etc; mapped visually first by Dirt and textwise by Dust.
There's a few more that have been discovered e.g. Burgeo, Tonlor Ben, Omeo (Russian island), etc
Forgotten so soon? Land of your travelling legacy?
AKI!
Come to the land of the people the animals eat! Hunting laws are to be followed : Hunt everything you can, every day.Don't travel alone, and don't sleep in town.
Reality was never my strong point.

I had a character, making a visual map using the location graphics. She somehow never met Dirt, never saw any of his maps, until just as she was finishing, she found that all the town she went by had a copy of his first edtion - she must've been on his heels for some time...
She plans to find another island and map that now... Good luck to her!

Omeo
I have a character mapping the Russian island who acquired a boat recently (a strange story) and is now mapping the outer edge. She has run into quite a few English speaking types, and does her best to communicate with english emotes (*gestures*) and a few words of english.
It is quite hard to limit myself to what I have heard used in context!
The actual Russian population seems to be on the other side of the island from the majority of the visitors, so there may be hope for them yet. If, that is, there are still Russian speaking players, of course
Back to the map - I've only found a few fragments of other maps, so perhaps I can set up a business selling my Omeo map when it is done.
